Blue whale
Blue whales are the biggest animals on the Earth. They can be 30 metres long and weigh 180 tons. A blue whale is 30 times as heavy as an Asian elephant. Blue whales live in the oceans around the world. They eat small fish for food. A blue whale can eat 4,000 to 8,000 kilograms of fish every day.
Most blue whales live for more than 50 years. Some can even live for up to 90-100 years. People are polluting the oceans, so blue whales are losing their homes. Some people are killing them. There are not many blue whales in the world now.
It’s important for us to protect blue whales.

There are many endangered animals in the wild, such as tigers and pandas. Many wild animals are killed by people who want to sell their fur for money. When farmers cut down trees, animals can no longer hide. At the same time, there are fewer and fewer places where they can live. We are not alone in the world. All kinds of wildlife make the world more colorful. We human beings could not live without animals around us. Wild animals are our friends, and to protect the animals is to protect ourselves. Thus, protecting wildlife is very important.
We must take measures to stop animals from being killed. Meanwhile, we should try our best to keep their home from being destroyed. What’s more, we can raise some money to help them.
