A growing number of people are using ChatGPT,an AI program, to create books for sale.
Until recently,Brett Schickler never imagined he could be a writer. But after learning about ChatGPT,Schickler decided that he had a good chance.“The idea of writing a book finally seemed possible,”said Schickler, a postman in New York. "I thought I could do this.”
Using the AI program, Schickler created a30-page picture book in a few hours. He offered it for sale in January through Amazon.“The book has made me less than $100,"he said. While that may not sound like much, it is enough to make him want to create other books using ChatGPT.Like Schickler,Kamil Banc told his wife that he could make a book in less than one day. “It was actually really simple,"he said.“I was surprised at how fast it went from an idea to publishing(出版).”
However, Mark Dawson, a famous writer, was quick to call ChatGPT-aided novels“dull".which means not interesting. He said,“If a book gets bad reviews because the writing is dull, then it's quickly going to the bottom.”
Mary Rasenberger is a member of a writer's group. She said,“This is something we really need to think about. These books will pour into the market and a lot of writers are going to be out of work.”

Mary Rasenberger
根据第二段中的“Schickler,a postman in New York"可知,Schickler 是美国纽约的一个邮递员。 根据第三段中的“While that may not sound like much, it is enough to make him want to create other book susing ChatGPT.” 根据第三段中的“I was surprised at how fast it went from an idea to publishing.” 根据最后一段中的“These books will pour into the market and a lot of writers are going to be out of work.”
长难句分析原句:(倒数第二段最后一句)He said,"If a book gets bad reviews because the writing is dull, then it's quickly going to the bottom.” If a book gets bad reviews because the writing is dull是if引导的条件状语从句;在这个条件状语从句中,because引导原因状语从句。
