Analysis of the teaching materials : This unit is about the online shopping,such the topic is related to daily life and they are very familiar with it. To discuss the topic of shopping on the Internet,students are interested in shopping online because students are interested in the Internet. In order to guide students to learn how to buy everything on the Internet,the advantages and disadvantages of shopping online,the development prospect of shopping online. Analysis of the students：The students are from grade 7. Their learning ability already has a certain foundation and reading ability. Pre-class preparation has arranged for students to read the words according to the phonetic symbols and understand the meaning of the the words and the steps to understand shopping online. Teaching objectives：After learning this text,students are able to: Knowledge objectives： To master the following words and phrases：online shopping, choose, pay for, receive, post,advantage,disadvantage, compare, product, anyone,anything,anywhere,everything, product,safe, several. To get information from the reading material about online shopping. Ability objectives: (1)Read the article, understand the relevant information of shopping on the pare the the advantages and disadvantages of shopping online through mutual assistance and cooperation. 3.Moral objectives: Understand the shopping process of real life and set up the correct concept of shopping consumption. Important point： Master and accurately use the key words and phrases of this unit. 2. Know about advantages and disadvantages of online shopping. Difficult point： Use the language points that were studied to describe advantages and disadvantages. Step1 Lead-in First,import the text with questions,then combine the pictures to make the students think about what they can buy online,and import the text with four questions. Step2 Vocabulary learning Ss study the new words by themselves. Try their best to read. Find out the words they feel difficult, studying with other Ss, and following to them. Study new words together. Do the competition. Boys and girls read the new words and make a comparison which side is louder. Give several minutes to Ss studying the new words. Find out words which some Ss are difficult on pronunciation, and ask other Ss to help each other. Ask all Ss have a try. Read all together. Find out the wrong pronunciation and help Ss. Play a game--competition. 11’ PPT To achieve the knowledge aims as well as making Ss study words in a new style, helping each other and training Ss’ study ability.
Step3 Pre-reading Work in pairs. Answer the questions. Show some questions to Ss. Ask Ss do the pair work. 13’ PPT To let Ss get some reading skills and teacher make a conclusion for reading Ss’ ability.

To study the important and difficult points as well as training Ss’ independent thinking.
Step5 Careful reading 1.read the first paragraph and finish the activities 3fill in blanks in the book. 2.Read the paragraph two ,complete the 3.fill in blanks and find out the pros and cons of online shopping. 3.Read the fourth, find out how online shopping can change your life. Read the text carefully and design the reading task paragraph by paragraph. 3’ BOOK To make Ss study the reading skills and consolidate the important point. To train Ss’ creativity and writing skills.
Step 6 Summary Review the new words and important structure.. Ask Ss what they have learned today. 2’ PPT To review the knowledge point.
Step7 Homework Doing a questionnaire about a competition. Teacher gives some homework about writing to Ss. Ending this class. 1’ PPT To train the Ss’ writing skills and review the key sentences.
Teaching Reflection In this class,I use Communicative teaching method, allow Ss. to communicate in a free environment,and encourage them to speak English in their daily lives. Ss. use cooperative study methods most of the time,which can develop their cooperative abilities and improve their confidence.In all, Ss. learn efficiently and happily in this class.But,I’m afraid there are too much activities in class,so I will try to control the time better.
