A did / was sth.
1. B’s Response: B did sth / felt ... in response to A’s behavior.
2. Cause - Effect based on A’s behavior: Why (did A do it) / What (is the result) (即因果推理,A为什么这样做?
3. Process: Then, A did ...(又称主位推进,即A然后做其它什么)/ Then, how did A do it (即A如何做那件事?)
4. Explanation: What was sth
His eyes were full of anticipation.
Just one game.” My son’s face lit up.
心理:How could I possibly resist such a sincere and heartfelt request
I could see the excitement welling up within him.
I could see the struggle on his face as he fought to hold back his laughter.
动作:With that, he threw his arm back, stepped forward, and with plenty of force extended out his arm that was holding the controller.
The air stood still at that moment.
The look on my son’s face was a funny mixture of horror, disbelief, and guilt.
He stayed absolutely frozen for a long moment.
Then, slowly, he turned to me. “Mom…” with a weak smile, “Did I just...break the TV ”
儿子恳求和我玩游戏(my 12-year-old son begged me to play a game with him)--》
(At one point, my son said, “No, Mom. You really have to put some force into it. Like this.”)--》
儿子打坏了电视,怕我生气(the controller went off his hand and broke the TV screen)
Surprisingly, I wasn’t angry at all.
1. How did I comfort him
2. How did my son respond (his emotion, his action)
3. What suggestion did I put forward
But my son insisted on keeping the broken TV.
1. How did I respond
2. How did my son explain his decision
3. How did I respond to his words
4.Theme:bond, strengthened
Para 1:
Surprisingly, I wasn’t angry at all.
(Process;Explanation:走过去,摸摸头,微笑着说)I went up to him, stroking his head and saying smilingly, “Yes, boy. However, it is just an old TV.”
(Response:儿子低头,避开眼神,轻声说)He lowered his head, avoiding my gaze, and whispered, “I'm sorry. We can't watch TV now.”
(Response:我看到他的后悔,我如何安心)I could see the regret welling up in him. How could I let him carry such a heavy burden of guilt “Don’t worry. We can get a new one,” I comforted him, pulling him into my arms and speaking softly as I waited for his response.
But my son insisted on keeping the broken TV.
(Response:我走过去,拍一拍,似乎道歉)He walked over to the damaged TV, patting it gently as if to offer an apology before turning back to me.
(Response;Cause-Effect:儿子解释原因,提醒自己小心)Sensing the confusion in my eyes, he calmly explained, "It serves as a reminder for me to be more careful." His eyes shone with sincerity.
(Response:我提议玩棋)“You're right. Why not play board games ” I winked to him.
That day, we had a great time playing board games, which strengthened the bond between us even more.
Surprisingly, I wasn’t angry at all.
(Cause-Effect:为什么我不生气)After all, it was just an accident.
I approached him, fighting to keep a straight face. “You did just break it,” I added with a playful grin, “next time, let’s stick to a board games.”
(Response:儿子反应)My boy buried his head in my arms.
(Explanation; Response: 解释儿子反应;我的心理)From the way he hugged me, I could tell how apologetic he was. It was an innocent mistake and I hated to blame a child with guilt. “Don't worry— we’ll throw the broken TV away and buy a new one.”
But my son insisted on keeping the broken TV.
(Response,Cause-Effect:儿子反应以及解释原因)He carried it to the corner of the sitting room. On seeing my confused look, he explained, “I will remind me to be cautious.”
(Response:我的反应以及心理)As my gaze fell upon that cracked screen, I couldn’t help but recall my son’s words: “Like this.” These two words echoed in my mind, seeming to offer a profound life lesson.
Accidents happens and it is practical forgiveness that plays a significant role in shaping a child’s character. The incident indeed brought us even closer as a family (85 words)
