教学过程
（一）创设情境，动画导入
佩奇和她的朋友们准备去寻找宝藏，但是她们必须勇闯三关才能找到宝藏，聪明的小朋友们可以帮助这些小海盗们吗？
【设计意图：利用佩奇找宝藏的情境，引起学生的好奇心，激发学生的学习兴趣。】
（二）新授
1. Round one
Look at the clocks. What time is it
Peppa ：It is twenty past seven.
George: It is ten to five.
Who is right
第一关，看钟表上的时间，听佩奇和乔治的答案，判断谁是正确的？
【设计意图：通过错读钟表上的时间引出本节课的教学重点：如何区分使用past 和to来表达时间。】
Kelly has a good method to deal with the question. It is called “P重合法”。Two steps，you can do it!
Step one
Teacher:” Imagine that P coincides with the clock face, then look at the minute hand, where is the minute hand ”
Students:”It is in the letter P.”
Teacher tells students the doggerel:”P P Past, P内分针用Past，其他都用to”
【设计意图：通过介绍P重合法来帮助学生学会区分Past和to,总结区分两者的顺口溜，分针在P内，用past来表达时间,分针在P外，用to来表达时间。】
Step two
1、再次看第一个钟表，根据顺口溜选出使用past or to .分针在P内，此时应选用past..
Past:分 + past + 时
Get students read the time “It is twenty past eight.”
2、再次看第二个钟表，根据顺口溜选出使用past or to . 分针在P外，此时应选用to.
To:还差几分（到整点）+ to +下一时针数
Get students read the time “It is ten to six .”
再教学生一个顺口溜帮助记忆to的用法：“差分，吐槽（to）一下（下一时针数）。”
【设计意图：使学生掌握使用past和to表达时间的用法。】
2.Round two
Exercise: Get students read the three clocks.
Student 1：It is ten past five .
Student 2：It is ten to seven .
Student 3：It is a quarter to eight .
【设计意图：通过小试牛刀使学生运用past和to来解决问题。】
3.Round three
小朋友们，你们现在还可以想起来如何玩转逆读法吗？
我们的锦囊妙计是P重合法。第一步，想象P与钟面重合，然后看分针在P内就用past来表达，如果在P外，就用to来表达。第二步，记牢past和to的不同用法。

To:还差几分（到整点）+ to +下一时针数
