Knowing that you are interested in our Campus Farm, I'm writing in delight to offer my warmest welcome and a brief introduction.
Our Campus Farm, covering less than half an acre, aims to offer a combination of hands-on training and engaging(有趣的) classroom to both students and staff. Each class is assigned a certain patch of(一小块) land,where students can design, plant, irrigate, fertilize and harvest(设计、种植、灌溉、施肥和收获) all by themselves.Two green houses are also available for experiments and training programs exposing students to an inviting(吸引人的) atmosphere for learning.

Working Is Most Beautiful
To advocate the spirit of social service and voluntary contribution last Wednesday saw our school organize all the students to help in Guangming Community.
Each class worked as a group and undertook different tasks such as weeding the flower beds, collecting litter, cleaning the windows in the neighborhoods, and so on. Besides, some students helped the disabled do some repairs, making them live comfortably.Everyone in the community spoke highly of us.
In the course of voluntary work, not only did it cultivate our spirit of labor and value of hard work, but we also made a difference in our community and appreciated the work done by others.

An Unforgettable Picking Event
To help us appreciate the value of hard work and treasure food on our plate, last Sunday saw my classmates and I go to a farm to pick up fruits.
With the sun rising from the horizon, we set out to the farm, located in the suburb of the city and covering an area of 10 hectares. On arrival, we saw a large field with a diversity of crops and fruit trees. Immediately, we started to pick apples and pears. Two hours later, with all our baskets full, our picking came to an end,and a great sense of accomplishment flooded over all of us.
Exhausted as/though we were, fruit picking at the farm was a fun and educational experience, which allowed us to be more mindful of where my food comes from and appreciate the hard work and care involved in farming.

The First Online Life Skills Show
To promote the importance of developing practical skills in everyday life, last week saw a sea of students,teachers and parents enthusiastically participate in our first online Life Skills Show.

My Experience of Cooking
I learned cooking a few years ago. When I was still a junior high school student, my mother said she would teach me to cook a fairly simple dish--scambled eggs with tomatoes. First, I got the ingredients needed ready.Then, under the guidance of my mother, I controlled the heat, stirred at the right time and added seasoning.Finally, this traditional Chinese dish was finished.
It tasted so delicious that the moment my parents took a bite, they just showed me with genuine compliments. And now, through continuous practical experiences, I'm able to prepare various meals myself.
In retrospect(回顾往事), learning to cook has not only granted me an extra life skill but also paved away for me to relieve stress and share joy with others. It's truly a rewarding experience.
