Fan painting is one of Chinese painting category. To express feelings, painters of all dynasties preferred to paint and write on the fan. In Song and Yuan Dynasties, the relationship between literati and painting was quite close. With admiration of the emperor,fan of calligraphy and painting developed rapidly.
