A slow train in Southwest China with its own study room has drawn much attention. The train No. 5609/5610 runs between Chongqing and Xiushan county.
It is a public-welfare (公益的) “slow train”. In some carriages (车厢), some desks and chairs next to the windows take the place of seats in order to turn the carriage into a “study carriage” for passengers in need.
The train No. 5609/5610 is not the only one of this kind. Other “slow trains” have become “study carriages”, too, including No. 5619/5620 and 5633/5634. They run along the Chengdu-Kunming Railway. Students from nearby schools often take the trains between school and home. The trains are their “school buses” and they often use their travel time to finish homework. Many passengers also use their travel time to complete work.
On the train No. Z150, running between Guiyang and Beijing, a “book bar” carriage has been popular with college students. There are nearly 400 universities and colleges in the cities along the line, making the train the top choice for most students from those schools. Since 2015, the train’s dining car has been open for free at night. It provides students with a lending library, free tea and other services. It’s a relaxing place for the students to continue their studies.

Rolling the Iron HoopIt is a traditional Chinese game that challenges balance and skill. And it was popular in 1960s and 1970s. Players hold a tool to guide the hoop (箍,环), rolling it along the ground and trying to keep the hoop upright (直立的) for long periods of time. This activity not only exercises the body but also develops focus and patience, making it a great way to stay active and have fun. ________ It is an old Chinese game believed to be over 4, 000 years old. Early tops were made of different materials: wood, bamboo, nuts and stones. A length of string (线,绳子) known as a “whip” was used to spin (转动) around the top to increase its speed. As time passed, this game developed into a popular children’s game, and later a competitive sport. It’s a fun activity that can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors. Kicking the Shuttlecock The “shuttlecock” is a feather-covered toy that has been enjoyed by Chinese people for centuries. There are different styles of kicking the shuttlecock as long as it remains in the air. With one leg fixed on the ground, the shuttlecock is kicked by the ankle (脚踝) of the other. A smile is the best language. The truth of a smile is that it’s like a seed that can grow in a garden called “life”.
If there is one thing I have missed the most in the past 3 years, it is to see other people smile. When every face has a mask (口罩) on it, you might feel safer. But your mind might start to feel sick. Over these last months, I’ve learned to notice the “stars” in people’s eyes that they still have when they smile from behind a mask. But it isn’t quite the same.
Every smile is like a gift. As I grow up, my mom’s smile always warms my heart. I am so happy that it appears on the faces of my children. My grandparents’ smile always has a happy “Hello!” along with it. My dad hardly smiles to us, but I always loved seeing it.
Over the years, I have also learned a lot about smiles. I have read that “We don’t smile because we are happy. We are happy because we smile.” I also read that “I have never seen a smiling face that wasn’t beautiful.” And I know that both of these things were true. What I remember most, though, is something from my teacher. He said, “If nobody wants us to be happy, why does smiling feel so good ”
It doesn’t matter if you are wearing a mask or not. It doesn’t matter if your teeth are white or not. Show the world your smile. Smiles share our love. Smiles spread our joy. Smiles make the world’s better place. One of the greatest, kindness and most loving things you can do is to give another person your smile.
46.What does the writer tell us in Paragraph 2
A.Smile with “stars” in our eyes, or we’ll feel sick.
B.The more we smile, the more happiness we’ll get.
C.A smiling face behind a mask is different but happy.

A.Mom’s smile. B.Grandma’s smile.

A.Smile to yourself every morning. B.It’s meaningless to smile with a mask.
C.Never show your smile to strangers D.Try to share your smile with the world.
49.Which of the following best shows the structure of the passage
A. B. C. D.
