Step1. Lead-in Step 2. Presentation T: We talked about pets last time. Some of you told me the pets you like. Today ,I’ll tell you the pet I like. Can you guess what they are Let students guess the pet that the teacher likes and why the teacher likes it. Ask students to study the poems and pictures on Page 94. T：Do you know why I would like a dog to be my pet Read “My Dog” and have students repeat after you. Discuss with students: Does a goldfish fight Does a goldfish need a bed Does a goldfish eat much What a quiet Ss guess and answer. Read after the tape. Have a discussion.
Step 3. Practice Step 4. Homework goldfish! She doesn’t bark and she doesn’t miaow. She just bubbles, bubbles. She is not any trouble. Ask students to find the adjectives in the poem which tell us about its characteristics. Play the tape again and look for the rhyming pairs. Then finish the exercises in Part B1 on Page 95. Listen again and find out the rhyme schemes. Finish Part B4, and then check the answers. Finish the exercises in workbook. Listen and finish Part B1.

Step1. Revision Step 2 Presentation 1.Ask students to read or recite the words and expressions . 2.Correct the mistakes in their homework . 1.Ask students to say the use of adjectives in the phrases above and then help them summarize how to use adjectives . 1）.We use adjectives to describe people or things . we can put an adjective before a noun to be an attributive or after a linking verb to be a predicative . 2）We can also put an adjective after an indefinite pronouns to be an attributive . Make some sentences to help them to understand them . 2. Indefinite pronouns. 1）We use indefinite pronouns to refer to people and things when we do not know or do not need to mention who or what we are talking about . Students answer the use of adjectives and try to summarize how to use adjectives . Ss learn indefinite pronouns.
