“I have no more wood for the fire. The lamb(羔羊肉) is only half cooked. Never mind! Instead of you Pinocchio, I’ll burn some other marionette(木偶). Hey, there! Officers!” Fire Eater said.

Livestreaming(直播) is very popular nowadays. Buthave you watched livestreaming shows given by virtual hosts(虚拟主播) They look like real people, but actually they arejust digital(数字的) characters created by AI companies.
Xmov is such an AI company in China. Founded in 2018, it has created many great digital humans. The company is the first in China to create a virtual social media star named Ling,who is always seen in a traditional Chinese costume. When a teenager starts a new school, he or she is usually nervous about fitting in. This was certainly the case for 15-year-old Sergio Peralta who started this school year at Hendersonville High School in Tennessee.
It was even more of a challenge for Sergio because he was trying to keep his disability a secret from his new classmates. Born with a right hand that was not fully formed, Sergio adapted(适应) to doing everything with his left hand, including writing. “As I was growing up, a lot of people asked me what was wrong with my hand. So on the first days of school, I honestly felt like hiding my hand,” he said.
But Jeff Wilkins, a teacher of engineering at the school, found out the secret and asked his engineering class to help. He said to them,“Try to come up with new ideas and solve the problem.” The suggestion to build a robotic(机器人的) hand came from the class. Leslie Jaramillio, one of the students, said that the project served the spirit of the purpose of engineering classes. “I was introduced to them by the teacher. The students decided to deal with the project at once. They chose one online model and worked on it with a 3-D printer.
