A video went popular on August 15, 2023. In the video, there was a group of tourists traveling in the desert in Turpan, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Suddenly they found their hair standing on end, which scared everyone on the scene. According to the tourists, their hair returned to normal situation after they drove 3 kilometers down the road.
Many people on the Internet said the phenomenon(现象)is a sign of a coming storm. They suggested that the group should have run away as soon as possible. However, Feng Minxue, an expert said that running away is not the best choice in such a situation.
According to Feng, if a person's hair is dry and there is a little too much static electricity(静电),there is still time to leave. However, if the hair has already stood on end, running can be fatal because it may put the person in danger. The correct way is to lower one's body height. If they can't leave the
mountain top in time, they should quickly crouch(蹲) down in that place, bring their feet as close together as possible and use their hands to protect their head, avoiding touching the ground.
Wu Xueke, a professor, thinks that the clouds with electricity above the head of the tourists caused the situation. The electric field distortion(畸变)above their head became strong, and then it caused static electricity in their hair. In some serious cases, the person might be hit by lightning. Therefore, if people meet with such a situation outdoors, they should keep a clear mind and take action properly.

① Keep their body down. ② Bring their feet close together.
③ Protect their head. ④ Touch the ground.
A.①②③ B.①②④ C.①③④
31. What can we know from the last paragraph
A. People outdoors should try to avoid dark clouds.
B. Strong electric field distortion can cause static electricity in hair.
C. People are easily hit by lightning in the desert.

Collecting must be one of the various human activities, and it’s one that many psychologists (心理学家) find more attractive.
59. 有些人收藏东西是因为他们想赚钱。We call them business collectors. This could be called an instrumental (工具性) reason for collecting. They’ll look for antiques (古董) that they can buy cheaply and expect to sell at a higher price. But there may well be a psychological thought, too—buying cheap and selling dear can give the collector a sense of achievement (成就感).
Another reason for collecting is the desire (渴望) to find something special, such as a rare early recording by a famous singer. Some may spend their whole lives in a hunt for this. Psychologically, this can give a purpose to a life. There is a danger, though, that if one is lucky enough to find what he is looking for, he may feel empty, because the goal that drove him on has gone.
If you think about collecting postage stamps, another reason is its educational value (教育价值). Stamp collecting opens a window to other countries, and to the plants, animals, or famous people shown on their stamps. In the 19th century, many collectors collected fossils, animals and plants from around the globe and their collections provided a large amount of information about the natural world. Without those collections, our understanding would be far behind what it is.
Not all collectors are interested in learning from their hobbies. Some people collect because of the need for a sense of control. 60.Stamp collectors, for instance, arrange their stamps in albums very neatly according to their preferred principles.
56.What can give the business collectors a sense of achievement
57.What is the educational value of collecting stamps
58.If you are a collector, what will you collect And why

第三节 (共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
阅读下面的短文,翻译句式并回答问题

57.根据第四段中“Stamp collecting opens a window to other countries, and to the plants, animals, or famous people shown on their stamps.”可知,集邮为其他国家打开了一扇窗,让人们了解邮票上的植物、动物或名人。故填It opens a window to other countries, and to the plants, animals, or famous people shown on the stamps.
58.开放性试题,言之有理即可。根据“If you are a collector, what will you collect And why ”可知,此处应回答如果你是收藏家,你会收藏什么物品以及原因。故填If I am a collector, I will collect car models because I love cars and receive car models as gifts on every special day, which serve as a reminder of my carefree childhood and the love from my parents and friends. Each car model carries a touching story and pleasant moment in my life.
59. Some people collect things because they want to make money.
