教学重点难点 掌握“how many”和“how much”在提问数量时的不同点; 掌握“how much”提问价钱时的用法; 了解可数与不可数名词的区分以及“how much”的其它用法。
教学过程 Step 1: Warming up Greeting. Lead in Look and ask. Look at the picture and lead students to ask about what they want to know. T: First, please look at this picture. Who are they T: Yes, they are Peppa pig and her family. Situation setting T: What do you want to know about them You can ask some questions. Q1:Where are they Q2: What are they doing Q3: What do they want to buy T: Maybe, you want to know where they are. Yes, they are in a supermarket. T: Let’s check what do they want to buy. 【设计意图】利用学生所熟悉的动画人物创设情境,吸引学生的兴趣,使学生快速进入上课状态,并且在情境中完成本节课的任务。同时引导学生对图片的内容进行提问,培养学生的问题意识,使学生通过提问感知本节课的主题,自然而然地进入后续的学习任务。 Step 2: Presentation The similarity and differences between “How many” and “How much” Ask and answer Q1: How many bananas do they want to buy Five bananas. Q2: How many watermelons do they want to buy A watermelon. Q3: How much milk do they want to buy Two bottles(瓶) of milk. Q4: How much juice do they want to buy One bottle of juice. Find the rule Present four sentences teacher asked and lead students to find out the similarity and differences between ‘How many’ and ‘How much’. T presents four sentences and asks Ss to find out the similarities and difference. Similarities: ‘how much’ and ‘how many’ can be used to ask about quantities. Differences: The nouns after “How many” are countable. But the nouns after “How much” are uncountable. T presents some examples to help Ss distinguish between ‘countable nouns’ and ‘uncountable noun’. T presents some examples to help Ss know how to express the quantities of uncountable nouns. 【设计意图】学生根据句子的不同自己发现用法规则,激励学生自主探究,提高学生发现问题、分析问题的能力,提高学生学习的独立性。 Other usages of ‘How much’ T presents a situation to help Ss understand other usages of ‘how much’. Ask and answer Q1: How much are bananas Five yuan. Q2: How much is the watermelon Twenty yuan. Q3: How much is the milk Ten yuan. Q4: How much is the juice Eight yuan. Find the rule T presents four sentences teacher asked and lead students to find out the rules. T: When the noun is singular or uncountable, we should use is. When the noun is plural, we should use are. Expansion T presents ‘how much’ can be used to ask about weight. Step 3: Consolidation T presents two games to help Ss consolidate what Ss have learned. Play a classification game (分类游戏) Fill in the blanks (填空游戏) 【设计意图】通过游戏的方式完成练习任务,检测其对于知识点的掌握程度,有助于学生内化所学知识,对已输入的语言知识进行整合,达到巩固与运用的目的。 Step 4: Summary 【设计意图】通过总结,帮助学生巩固知识。 Step 5:Homework Finish ‘Fill in the blank’ Do a servey 尝试用以下句型,采访一下你的同学,他们所拥有文具数量的多少及其价钱吧。 S1: How many/How much do you have? S2: I have … S1: ….. is it/are they S2: It is/They are …. 【设计意图】 通过填空练习,让学生再次巩固本节课的重点内容how much和how many的使用区别。以采访为切入点,通过引导学生运用所学句型采访同学文具拥有数量及其价格,让课内所学语言知识应延伸至学生的日常生活中,不仅让学生学以致用,而且巩固了学生所学知识,从而提升综合语言运用能力。
