学情教材分析 学情分析: 本班学生是初一特色班学生。学生和任课老师关系良好,英语基础整体良好,有学好英语的强烈愿望,愿意和老师配合,能够跟上老师的思路,并且主动思考。但是有少部分同学有的时候上课会偶尔走神,基础也不太扎实。而且在思考深度方面也不够。课堂上需要采取多模态的教学形式,全方位刺激学生的意识感官,尝试让不同学习风格的学生都能达成学习目标。 教材分析: 2a-2c也是一个听说任务链。此部分听力输入比1b输入更加丰富,并增加了“正在做某事”的内容。2c依然是基于2a-2b的口语结对活动。2d的示范对话通过打电话的情境融入了How’s it going It’s great. 等常用于“打招呼”的交际用语,同时还谈论天气和人们正在从事的活动。该对话中谈论天气的用语与1a-1c不一样,因为1a-1c不一样,2d对话中的两人是在相同城市,所以天气也是一样的。对话给我们呈现了small talk,即“闲聊”中如何就天气话题进行交谈的技巧。 本部分教学重点是how引导的询问天气的特殊疑问句,描述天气状况的形容词,还有与天气相关的人们相应的即时活动。难点是现在进行时中助动词be和动词-ing的正确使用。涉及的文化背景知识主要有世界各地的气候差异,谈论天气是顺利进行交际的一个交际策略。
核心素养目标 By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: 1. 语言能力:Learn to use new weather-related vocabulary to talk about the weather and greet them through listening and speaking activities. 2. 学习能力:Feel the regional differences by learning about different weather conditions around the world. Understand that talking about the weather is an important part of small talk. 3. 文化意识:Accurately obtain information about the weather and activities through listening and speaking activities, express personal views and opinions in connection with oneself, improve the logic and criticality of thinking, and realize the transfer of thinking ability. 4. 思维品质:Promote the improvement of listening and speaking ability and improve learning efficiency through pre-listening prediction, listening recording, and post-listening retelling. Stay interested in learning English by talking about the weather and daily activities.

Step One Warm-Up Pronunciation 根据所给音标拼读单词,并猜测词义。 【语言能力】 [5minutes] Lead-in 学生能否专注的观看视频,是否能认真地注意天气类单词。 【语言能力】 【文化意识】 [5minutes] Present the phonetic symbols of the key words in this part to the students and let them pronounce the words with their phonetic knowledge from last term either by calling some students to do so or giving the chances to the volunteers. T greets students. Then T invites Ss to watch a video about weather forecast.. Try to pronounce the words when being called or volunteer to do so if one thinks one can do so. Guess the meaning of each word after pronouncing the word right. Ss watch a video and then pay attention to the weather words.

T leads Ss to finish 1a. Match the words with the pictures [a-e]. T plays the recording for the first time to ask Ss to finish the match exercise. What’s the weather like in these cities T plays the recording for the second time to ask Ss to finish 1b. T invites Ss to look at the pictures in 2a and predict what they are doing. T plays the recording in 2a for the first time to ask Ss to finish 2a. T plays the recording for the second time to ask Ss to complete 2b. After that. T invites some Ss to show their answers. Ss learn the expressions of asking and answer weather Ss finish 1a. Practice can enhance the expressions of weather. Ss listen to the record and finish the match exercise Ss listen to the record and write these city names in the boxes above. Ss practice sentence structure, then listen to the conversation , and finish 2a and 2b.

Step Four Promotion Post-listening It can help Ss improve their ability of listening and speaking. Ss can practice their spoken English. T asks Ss to retell the what Linda’s family are doing Have a dictation test: hand out the test papers and have the students finish it within 5 minutes. Ss practice conversations in 2c. with their partner. Ss make a retell practice. Take the test carefully. And hand in the papers as soon as the time limit approaches.
