How time flies! Nearly three years of junior high school life is coming to an end. During these years I have met many teachers and Mr Wang is my favorite teacher. In fact, he's of medium build with glasses and looks common. However, he is funny and kind. He can teach math very well by making his classes interesting. I used to hate math because it was difficult and boring. But he was always patient enough to tell me how to learn math well. As a result, I showed more and more interest in math.
Thanks to Mr Wang, I could get good grades in all my math exams. And I wish to be a math teacher like him in the future.

Last Friday, our school held the sports meeting. It is one of the biggest school events. All the students look forward to it. The games in the sports meeting were exciting and running was the most intense. Class Four Grade Nine did the best in the sports. They got the highest scores. My class won the third place. We were proud of ourselves because we did our best. Liang Wen and Qiu Lu are my classmates. They both won first in the running competition and high jump competition. The others cheered for them loudly during the match.
I took part in the long jump and I did not do well enough to enter the final. But my classmates gave me a hero's welcome and a big hug when I came back. Everyone had a great time at the sports meeting. It reminded us of the meaning of friendship and the power of teamwork.

My Favourite sportswoman
My favourite sportswoman is Li Na, a famous professional tennis player. She is also the symbol of China's sporting success.
Li Na was born on February 26, 1982 in Wuhan, Hubei, China. At the age of six, Li Na started playing badminton, following his father’s footsteps. She joined China’s National Tennis Team in 1997.
At the end of 2002,she studied at Huazhong University of Science and Technolgy. She won the 2014 Australian Open women's singles title on January 25, 2014 and became the champion to win a Grand Slam again after she had already won the 2011 French Open women's singles title. Walk for children in poor areas
Not long ago, our school organized a charity walk to raise money for children in poor areas.
It was on Saturday, 23 rd October. We walked from the school to the centre of the city. Before the walk, we grouped ourselves into a team of four and planned everything well. It was a hard (tough) work. But during the walk, we supported and helped each other. With the help of many people, we raised over (more than) 50,000 yuan in the end.
We all felt tired, but we were very happy. Because it was a meaningful experience and it was an excellent chance to learn team spirit.
