Hello everyone! I’d like to tell you something about one of the most important festivals in China — The Mid-Autumn Festival. It’s on August 15th in the Chinese lunar calendar. According to the ancient story, there was a rabbit and a lady called Chang’e on the moon. It’s a time for us to have a family reunion. We usually celebrate the festival with a big dinner.
We also eat the traditional food called mooncakes on that day. It’s very relaxing to enjoy the moon while eating! It’s really a great festival in China!

Third, never use sharp things like the knife when we play with our classmates. Fourth, no smoking or drinking at school. They’re bad for our health.

It upsets me when my parents me treat me like a child. I am a teenager with my own ideas and opinions about the world. 1 prefer rock music to classic music and my taste in food and clothes is different from them. But they never respect my choice. For example, last summer when I told them I wanted co sign up for the film camp, they were shocked and didn't agree. They told me that I should join the English language camp instead. They didn't listen to my reasons carefully because they thought I was too young to make any wise decision.
We had a big fight and I was really sad, I think I should talk with them more to let them know me better. 1 hope they can learn to respect my choice and opinion.
