Dunhuang Caves, which are protected as ancient treasures in the Gobi desert in Northwest China, are filled with paintings and sculptures with lasting value. This artwork was created over a period of around 1,000 years.

More than 50 years have passed since anyone set foot on the Moon. But soon, astronauts will return there with a new type of spacesuit (宇航服). Those old ones were really heavy and didn’t fit every astronaut well, especially for women. So, NASA has to make some changes to them for the first time in 40 years.
“The astronauts will find big improvements in these spacesuits,” said NASA engineer Carly Meginnis. The new suit has more joints (关节), especially in the lower part of the body. This will offer astronauts more flexibility to perform tasks like kneeling and walking (not “rabbit jumping”) on the moon. The gloves need to be protective and allow astronauts to do work as freely as possible. The new gloves have heaters (加热器) to keep fingers warm, since fingers become the coldest parts of body in space. Also, the spacesuit has a cooling system with water moving around to take away the unwanted heat. Another change is that the new helmet (头盔) provides a better view for astronauts. It even adds lights and an HD camera inside to take clearer videos.
There are still some problems that need to be solved. For example, it still takes up to four hours to put on the spacesuit, even with the help from their partners (搭档). Moreover, scientist hope that spacesuits will be able to be designed to help astronauts work together with robots in the future.
35.NASA made changes to the spacesuit because ________.
A.the old spacesuit was too expensive to make
B.the old spacesuit was not comfortable to wear
C.NASA astronauts needed more beautiful spacesuits
D.NASA usually changes the spacesuit every 40 years

A.the time of exercise B.the teamwork of astronauts
C.the easiness of movement D.the way of communication
38.What is the best title for the passage

②Directed (执导) by 41-year-old Jia Ling, the movie tells about the story of a woman tired of the world, finding herself and learning to love life through boxing (拳击). The name YOLO is short for the movie’s main idea—you only live once.

⑥In Jia’s eyes, her change in identity (身份) and look is her way of staying true to herself. “It’s hard to predict one’s life. I’m just following my heart but not looking for changes on purpose (故意地). Movies are now the best way to show myself, so I put all my energy into them,” Jia told Xinhua.

Why is the cat not in the Chinese zodiac (生肖)
There is a famous Chinese folk story about this. The Jade Emperor (玉皇大帝) invited all animals to take part 66 a race (赛跑). The first 12 animals to finish the race would become part of the zodiac.
At that time, the cat and the rat were good friends. When they 67 (hear) about the race, the cat said to the rat, “we should arrive early to sign up for the race, but I 68 (usual) wake up late.” The rat promised to wake his friend up 69 they could go together. 70 , on the morning of the race, the rat was so 71 (excite) when he woke up that he forgot his promise. He went directly to the gathering area for the race. The cat woke up only 72 (find) that the race was already over.
But it is only 73 story. The real reason is that there were no cats in China in ancient times. Researchers say that before the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220), China didn’t have house cats. There were some descriptions of cats in China in some ancient 74 (book), but they were mostly wildcats.
Nowadays it is 75 (believe) that house cats have appeared in China since the Eastern Han Dynasty. But by that time, the animals of the Chinese zodiac had already been chosen.

▲________
When we write diaries for ourselves, we keep them secretly. Some diaries even come with a lock and key. But remember that talking about your feelings with an adult (like your parents or teachers) you trust is a good way too.
