1. 程度结果状语从句
so ... that... 意思是“太……以至于……”，so后面接形容词或副词，表示程度，that后面接从句表示这一程度造成的影响或结果。
We were so noisy that our next door neighbour came to complain.
我们太吵了以至于邻居来抱怨。
2. 让步状语从句
由though/although引导，意思是“尽管……，（但是）……”。
Although / Though kevin is alone, he is very happy at first.
虽然凯文独自一人，但一开始他很高兴。
注意：汉语中“虽然”与“但是”往往同时使用，但是在英语中是不 可以的。
