A/An Valuable Gift
I've received lots of presents,but the most valuable gift I've received is the book The Old
Man and the Sea from my mother.
It was my 13th birthday.I failed to pass the exam some days ago and felt really upset
those days.My mother wanted to cheer me up and encourage me to be strong,so she gave the
book to me.I was so surprised and happy to get it.After I finished reading the book.I have
learned that when we meet with difficulties,we should never give up.
From then on,I keep trying my best to study hard.I think I'll grow up with it because it
is not only a book but also my mother's love.So I consider it the most valuable gift.
