Unit 1 Do you collect anything
1.熟练掌握本单元的词汇和句型。
2.复习和掌握六种基本句型。

2.能听懂和阅读关于介绍爱好的语言材料。

1.重点:
(1)通过谈论兴趣与爱好训练学生的听说能力。
(2)使用简单句表达兴趣爱好以及对兴趣爱好进行简单评析。
(3)掌握简单句基本句型的应用。
2.难点:
(1)掌握简单句的基本结构。
(2)编写关于爱好的对话。
Step 1 Warming up and leading in
1.Show some pictures with some new words about hobbies.Learn the new words.
2.Ask students to talk about the following questions.
(1)What's your hobby
(2)Do you like collecting anything
(3)What do you often collect
【设计意图】通过图片让学生学习词汇,使学生对词汇的记忆更加牢固。教师通过问题引出hobbies这个话题,并引导学生谈论自己的爱好,为后续的内容做铺垫。
Step 2 Listening
1.Do Activity 1
(1)Ask the students to look at the pictures in Activity 1.
(2)Play the recording.Have the students listen and find out who collects the things in the pictures.
(3)Ask them to share their answers and then check the answers.
【设计意图】通过听录音辨别Tony一家三口的不同爱好,起到了导入话题和词汇输入的作用。
2.Do Activity 2
(1)Ask the students to read the words and questions in Activity 2.
(2)Have them answer the questions.Use the words and expression in the box.
(3)Play the recording again for the students to find the answers and then ask them to check their answers with their partners.
(4)Now listen again and check the answers in the whole class.
【设计意图】本活动要求学生提取对话中的具体信息,同时学习词汇为后面的对话学习做准备。
Step 3 Listening and reading
1.Play the recording.Ask the students to listen and answer the questions.
2.Have the students read the conversation and underline the key points and difficulties as many as possible with their partner.
3.Show the points to the class,and the teacher explains some difficulties to them.
4.Let the students complete the notes of Activity 3.Then check the answers with their partners.
5.Have them read the conversation aloud and act it out.
【设计意图】充分调动学生的积极性,促进学生相互合作,培养学生分析和归纳问题能力和综合应用能力,同时给学生提供展示成果的舞台。
Step 4 Practice
1.Ask the students to read the words in the box and read through the passage in Activity 4.
2.Have them complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box.
3.Ask some students to show their answers,then check the answers.
【设计意图】本活动是对对话内容的概括。通过语篇的形式巩固了本单元的重点词汇,同时还可以加深学生对对话内容的理解。
Step 5 Pronunciation and speaking
1.Have the students read the sentences in Activity 5.
2.Play the recording and ask the students to listen to the recording carefully and notice the intonation.
3.Play the recording again.Ask the students to listen and read after the recording.
4.Work in pairs.Finish Activity 6.Ask and answer questions about their hobbies.Then act it out.
【设计意图】通过听辨、跟读让学生辨析并掌握英语中不同句式的语调。通过利用所学句型谈论爱好,提高了学生说英语的技能。

1.Remember the new words and phrases in this unit.

Unit 2 Hobbies can make you grow as a person.
1.掌握本单元的重点词汇和句型。
2.读懂有关个人爱好的文章并提取相关信息。
3.通过采访,了解他人的兴趣爱好,并做简单记录。
4.能够运用简单句的基本句型和as well as,such as,as a result写一篇关于介绍同学爱好的作文。

2.通过熟读课文,能根据所给提示信息,简述文章内容。
3.能够正确感知句子的基本成分,掌握简单句的五种基本句型和there be句型结构。

Step 1 Revision and leading in
1.Ask the students the following questions to review Unit 1.

2.Show some pictures about hobbies and ask the students to talk about their hobbies.

Step 2 Reading
Before reading
1.Do Activity 1
(1)Ask the students to read the words and expressions in the box in Activity 1.
(2)Work in pairs.Talk about hobbies.Use the words and expressions in the box.
(3)Have some students share their hobbies in class.
2.Do Activity 2
(1)Let the students read the words in Activity 2.
(2)Ask them to work in pairs and choose the words from the box to describe their hobbies.
(3)Have some students show their hobbies to the class.
3.Teach them the new words in the passage.
(1)Let the students look at the screen and read the new words after the teacher.
(2)Ask them to read and write the words to remember them.
(3)Have them check each other about the words.
【设计意图】通过谈论自己的爱好复习了前面所学的知识,活跃了学生的思维;通过学习生词,为学生扫清阅读短文时可能遇到的理解障碍。
