一、语篇研读
What:本课通过Danny,Jenny和Brian的对话展开,以世界环境日展开保护环境的话题,讲述了他们三人发现校园的垃圾后号召所有人一起参与分拣垃圾,一起清洁校园的活动。
Why:通过本课学习教育学生保护环境从身边的小事做起。倡导学生关注身边环境,培养学生热爱和保护校园环境的意识,培养保护环境的责任感。
How:本课通过对话形式,以世界环境日保护环境为话题,号召所有人一起参与分拣垃圾的活动,一起清洁校园。在本节课的教学过程中,通过听力、阅读、小组合作和情景式教学途径,借助多媒体增加趣味性和直观性,提高课堂效率,以校园环境为因,使学生可以身临其境的感受文章所表达的主题。
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
能借助读音规律认读拼写单词,借助上下文猜测理解单词含义,牢记和清理垃圾有关的单词和短语:
2.完成听说读看写活动,积极参加真实语境中的语言实践活动,利用目标词汇和运用句型正确表达主题意义。

三、教学过程
【教学目标1】能借助读音规律认读拼写单词,借助上下文猜测理解单词含义,牢记和清理垃圾有关的单词和短语
【教学活动】.
1.show some pictures about the environmental pollution.
T: Look at these pictures。
What can you see
S: A lot of rubbish.
T: How do you feel when you see some rubbish in the street or somewhere else
S1: I feel sad.
S2: It’s really terrible.
S3: It’s a shame.
……
T: Good. Everyone answers very well. What will you do when you meet this situation
S: Clean up the rubbish and protect the environment. (帮助学生回答)
T: Ok. Now let’s look at these pictures.
What place is it
S: This is our school yard.
T: How’s our school yard.
S: Very clean and beautiful.
T: What should we do to keep our school clean and beautiful all the time
S1: Don’t throw the rubbish on the ground.
S2: If I see some rubbish in our school, I will pick them up.
T: Good job! Protecting the environment is our duty and we should make our homeland clean and beautiful, just like our school yard.
【设计意图】(通过展示有关环境污染的图片,让学生意识到它的危害并激发学生保护环境的意识。再出示几张自己校园的图片,非常的干净、漂亮,引导学生保护我们的家园,让它处处都像我们的校园一样干净,同时,培养了学生保护环境的责任感,让他们懂得保护环境,人人有责.图片的使用使学习更加形象直观,自然地进入谈论环保活动的新话题。进而引出本课的主题Unit 8 Save our World ;

【设计意图】运用实物或图片帮助学生学习生词,直观、感 性、形象。引导学生说出与本课相关的句子:He is picking up the garbage. They are cleaning up a yard. 设计活动让学生联想到自己遇到所处环境有垃圾时应该怎么做?
【教学目标2】
完成听说读看写活动,积极参加真实语境中的语言实践活动,利用目标词汇和运用句型正确表达主题意义。

【设计意图】 本题为听力题,利用课文录音, 既检测了学生对新词的掌握情况,又训练了学生的听力,更是加深同学们对整体的掌握,学生们带着问题有目的地倾听,容易把握内容回答问题。
【教学目标3】
能理解文章大意,选取有效信息,掌握基本阅读技能;巩固it指代上文中提到的词的用法,进一步学习it做形式主语的用法。
【教学活动】
1.快速阅读。听力之后,让学生大声朗读课文。注意重点单词、语音和语调。然后做Let’s Do it !部分第一题。
[设计意图] 学生训练听力之后,然后通读课文,熟悉重点单词,句型的语音语调,加深学生对课文的整体印象和对课文信息的把握,为自如说英语奠定基础。
2.跳读文本,获取所需信息。找出文中含有“It”的句子,并指出it在句中的用法。
It means “garbage”in American English.

[设计意图]通过阅读策略来获取信息。对比找出的句子中it的用法,在巩固it指代上文中提到的词的用法,进一步学习it做形式主语的用法
3.分组阅读。学生三人一组进行分角色朗读对话,并从文中找出以下句子:
(1) It’s a special day to draw people’s attention to the environment.
(2)We should pick up the garbage!
(3)Each student could clean up a bit of the schoolyard.
(4)We can ask our classmates to help us.
(5)We would finish cleaning in an hour!
(6)Jenny explains the plan to the class.
 [设计意图]三人组合练习对话,创设情景,使同学们身临其境,激发说的欲望。在练习中巩固本课需要掌握的句型。通过小组合作,培养学生的合作意识,更是检测了学生对本课的实际运用能力。
【教学目标4】
通过对阅读内容的深度学习理解和实践应用,培养学生创新迁移能力。
【教学活动】
1.Do you know about World Environment Day (Go to Learning Tip)
从世界环境日引导出保护环境是我们的职责,分组活动,以小组为单位画一张思维导图,主题是我们应该如何减少污染,保护环境?
提示:1. sort the garbage,
2. save water and electricity,
3. plant more trees
4. ride bicycles instead of cars ,
5. use paper bags ,
[设计意图]通过小组合作 引发学生用英语思考注意环保,为了环保从我做起,用掌握的英语知识表达自己的观点与想法。
