1 Eddie, aren't you getting bored with staying at home all day (P. 78) 1) 该句是一个否定疑问句，否定疑问句的句式为“情态动词/助动词/be动词与not的缩写形式+主语+谓语+其它？”表示“难道……不、没有……吗？”例如： Isn't he a good student Can't you ask your parents for help Can't you be more careful 2)get bored with 对......感到厌烦 e.g. After that, .我开始对我的工作感到厌烦。 【辨析】bored & boring 单词示例bored 无聊的，烦人的，一般形容人 If you are bored now, you can listen to music.boring 令人厌烦的，无趣的，修饰物 The book is very boring. A as boring as B not so bored as C as interesting as D not so interested as 3 I need a little sleep. 1) “需要”need 的用法 作情态动词 1)．need作情态动词无人称或数的变化，后接动词原形，多用于否定句和疑问句中。 如：You needn't worry. 你不必担心。 2)．由need引出的一般疑问句，肯定回答常用must或have to;否定答语常用needn't. 如：—Need I answer the question 我需要回答那个问题吗？ —Yes, you must. /Yes, you have to. 是的，你必须回答。/是的，你得回答。 /No, you needn't. 不，不必了。 3)．由must引出的一般疑问句，肯定回答用must,否定答语用needn't或don't have to。 如：—Must I do the work now 我必须现在干这个活吗？ —Yes, you must /have to. 是的，你必须做。 /No, you needn't /don't have to. 不，你现在不必做。 作行为动词 need 作为行为动词有人称和数的变化，后面可接名词、代词、动名词及带to 的动词不定式；可用于肯定句、疑问句和否定句中， 如：1 She needs help. 她需要帮助。 2 I don't need to see the doctor. 我不需要看病。 —Do you need to go at once 你需要马上走吗—Yes, I do. 是的，我得马上去。 —No, I don't. 不，不用马上走。 3 need doing 可转换为 need to be done结构，意思相同。我的头发非常需要洗一洗。 The garden needs watering. (=The garden needs to be watered. )花园需要浇水。 2) a little a) a little 在句中修饰不可数名词 sleep,意为“一点儿,少量",表示肯定含义。a lit-tle的作用相当于形容词. eg: Would you like a little coffee 你想要点儿咖啡吗 Lily can speak a little Chinese.莉莉会说一点儿汉语。 b) a little还可以用作副词词组,用于修饰形容词.副词,动词或形容词,副词的比较级。 e.g. The coat is a little small for me. 这件外套对我来说有点儿小。 Sam is a little taller than Jim.萨姆比古姆高一点儿。 c)辨析:a little 与 little a little表示“少,但还有一点儿”,即重点放在“有”上 little表示“有,但是极少",即重点强调“几乎没有",含有 little 的句子在变为反意疑问句时,反意疑问部分须用肯定形式,即前否后肯. eg:There is a little water in the glass.杯了里有一点儿水。 There is little water in the glass, is there 杯子里几乎没有水,是吗 【注意】 few, a few 的用法与 little, a little 相似,只是few利a few修饰可数名词复数. 【测一测】This passage is very difficult. people can understand it.
