make friends 是固定搭配,注意friend用复数形式
eg:Anyway, just remember that doing sports is a great way to make friends, so it should be a positive experience in the end!
表示与某人交朋友是 make friends with sb.
eg:You can make friends with those who have the same interests as you.
get to know 认识;了解
eg:When you are new to a place, you can get to know your neighbors by sharing fruit or vegetables you grow with them.

① pron. 每个 (指的是一个群体中的每个成员),通常用于两个或更多个人或物彼此相互进行动作或互相影响的情况。
eg:Make up a conversation to greet each other. (七上Unit 1 P2)

eg:Each year,people celebrate World Environment Day on 5th June. (2022中考)
辨析each和every:
each: 指两个或两个以上中的每一个,强调个别。
every: 指3个或3个以上的整体中的每一个,侧重于整体,与all接近。

adj. 另外的;其他的
eg:Bill is ahead of all the other runners. It seems that he will be the winner.
pron. 另外的人(或物)
eg:Jim can carry the heavy box because he is much stronger than the others in his class.
each other 互相;彼此
“each”和“other”一起使用,构成“each other”,表示互相或彼此之间的关系。
注意:each和other在搭配使用时保持不变形式,不受单数或复数的影响。

adj. 完整的;满的,也可以表示“吃饱了”,在句子中作定语或者表语
注意:表示“满的”时是绝对意义的形容词,不用于比较级,但当表示“完整的”含义时可以用于比较级
短语: be full of... 充满的
full of... 充满的,常用作后置定语
eg:A strong body helps you be full of confidence.

辨析:full和fill
full 是形容词,用作定语和表语,常用在短语be full of/full of中
fill 是动词,含义为“使......充满;装满”,常见短语为be filled with
eg:Our life will be filled with love!
注意:full和fill所搭配的介词不同,容易误选

文化差异:中西方姓名
英国或美国人的full name为first name+last name或者first name+middle name+last name
中国姓名为:姓氏+名字
eg:His full name is Richard Millhouse Nixon.So we call him Mr Nixon.

n. 年级
短语:sb. be in grade+数字(基数词)
数字(序数词)+grade
eg: Ms.Martin did the project with students from first to sixth grade.
Our school will hold a graduation ceremony for the students in Grade Nine.

eg:When he completed his studies, he got an excellent grade.

eg:Scan your food and Fooducate generates a letter grade for each product scanned,along with brief explanations and warnings about its nutrients and ingredients.

last name 有时也被称之为family name
eg: It was 300 or 400 years before the extra names gradually developed into last names, or surnames.

辨析:country, state, nation
country: 侧重指疆土 a particular geographical region of boundary

eg:He preferred country music to pop music when he was young.

adj. 相同的,通常前面加定冠词the,如“the same” 并且还常和same一起连用构成
短语:the same as 和......一样
eg:In China, many people may have the same experiences as me.

n. 双胞胎之一
复数形式为twins, 表示双胞胎中的两个人或者两对双胞胎
eg:Through such education, Liu thinks her twins have found fun in doing chores and are more independent.

可以用来描述双胞胎的关系,或者相似或成对的事物

① 作为形容词应置于名词前,做前置定语
② 当both与定冠词、指示代词如the, these, those或形容词性物主代词如my,your, his, her, their连用时,应置于这些限定词之前,注意不要将the放在both之前使用。 ③ 当both与动词连用时,大多数情况下它放在系动词be之后,其他动词之前。

a lot通常作为副词短语使用,修饰动词,表示程度
a lot of 通常作为形容词短语使用,修饰名词,表示数量上“很多”
eg:She decided to give much attention to astronomy,math and poems. After years of hard work, she achieved a lot.
eg:According to many doctors, spending time with animal friends has a lot of advantages.
