教学内容及分析：本节课介绍国内外不同节日，具有浓郁的文化气息，教学内容丰富。学生通过本节课的学习，除学会相关的语言知识外，还能学习到涉及中西方节日的文化和风俗习惯。这一部分侧重介绍我国的传统节日，学生在学习时，应该重点掌握由that，if/whether引导的宾语从句来表达自己的态度和看法；并且能够使用由how和what引导的感叹句；学会与节日相关的词语(包括节日的名称、与节日相关的专属用词)以及各种描述性词语(形容词及其习惯表达法)等。
教学对象及特点：学生进入九年级后，英语难度增大，部分学生缺乏自觉学习的主动性，学习英语的兴趣不浓郁。因为网络的发达，学生的思想容易受到影响，对中国的传统节日了解较少，又不能正确的认识西方节日，看待中西方节日存在片面性，不能正确表达自己的观点。
教学目标
知识与技能：master key words, phrases and sentences: stranger，relative，pound，the Water Festival，the Dragon Boat Festival，the Chinese Spring Festival，the Lantern Festival. I think that mooncakes are delicious. Bill wonders whether they'll have zongzi again next year.
过程与方法：Learn to talk about different festivals in China and western countries with the words and the exclamatory statements.
情感态度与价值观：With the help of this lesson，students can learn some cultural knowledge about Chinese and Western festivals.
教学重点：重点词汇、短语和句型。
教学难点：that, if, whether 引导的宾语从句。
