【听力】Rose liked doing chores when she was young. Her mother started teaching her to cook when she was five or six. There was a reason for that. Her father was at home for only two days a month, so her mother had to do everything. She had to grow crops, feed the dogs and the chickens and cook for her and her sisters. When she was five or six years old, she started to help her mother do farm work on the farm. Her second sister Daisy washed the clothes. When they finished their schoolwork, they all went to help their mother. Rose liked cooking for the family. She also liked to take the food she cooked to school and share with her classmates.
