一般现在时的基本用法：
①表示经常性或习惯性的动作
例：We get up at six every morning.（我们每天早上六点起床。）
She is ready to help others.（她总是乐于助人）

②表示现在的状态、能力、性格
例：Mr. Wang writes good English but he doesn’t speak well.（王先生的英文写得很好但他说不好。）

③表示格言、警句、永恒的客观真理
例：Pride goes before a fall.（骄者必败。）

★注意：此用法如果出现在宾语从句中，即使主句是过去时，从句谓语也要用一般现在时。　例：Columbus proved that the earth is round.

【拓展1】在时间、条件状语从句中，用一般现在时表将来
例：When I finish my homework, I will go out to play.（当我完成作业时，我会出去玩。）

【拓展2】表示按计划或安排好的，或将要发生的动作，可用一般现在时表将来。但只限于start, begin, leave, go, come, arrive, return, take place等。

【拓展3】以here, there 开头的倒装句中，用一般现在时表示现在正在发生的动作或存在的状态。

一般现在时常与以下表示频率的时间状语连用：
always，usually，every morning/night/evening/day/week/year，often，sometimes，occasionally，from time to time，twice a week，rarely，seldom，once a month，hardly，ever，never.
例：I leave home for school at 7：00 every morning.（我每天早上7点左右离开家去学校。）
一般现在时句型构成：
be动词：主语(名词或代词)+be（am，is，are）+其他
例：He is a boy./I am a girl./They are children.
行为动词：主语+行为动词+其他
例：We study English.（我们学习英语。）
be动词的变化：
1.肯定句式：例：The little dog is very cute.（这只小狗很可爱。）
2.否定句式：在be动词后面加not即构成am not/is not=isn’t/are not=aren’t
例：This subject is not easy.（这门课不容易。）
练7. He is a good student.（改为否定句）

3.一般疑问句式：将be提前至句首，结构：Be+主语+其他
例：--Are you good at Math
--Yes, I am.
--Is that girl your classmate
--No, she isn’t.
★注意：在肯定回答中，主语和动词be不能缩写。

特殊疑问句式：疑问词+一般疑问句
例：Where is my bike

行为动词的变化：
1.肯定句式：
①当主语是第一人称的单复数、第二人称的单复数、第三人称的复数时，行为动词使用其原型。 句子结构：主语+do+其他
例：I eat my dinner at 8 every evening.

②当主语是第三人称单数时，行为动词使用其第三人称单数形式。
句子结构：主语+does+其他
例：He plays football everyday.

行为动词一般现在时的三单形式构成方法：

一般情况 加-s help-helps play-plays
以辅音字母+o结尾 加-es go-goes do-dose
以x，sh，ch，s结尾 加-es teach-teaches brush-brushes
以辅音字母+y结尾 变y为i加es study-studies try-tries ★以元音字母+y结尾不适用此规则，如play-plays
特殊情况 没有统一的规则 have-has be-am/is/are
2.否定句式：
①当主语是第一人称的单复数、第二人称的单复数、第三人称的复数时：
主语+ don’t( do not) +动词原形(+其它)
例： I like bread. 改为否定→I don’t like bread.

②当主语是第三人称单数时：
主语+ doesn’t( does not) +动词原形(+其它)
例： He works in this shop. 改为否定→He doesn’t work in this shop.

一般疑问句式：
①当主语是第一人称的单复数、第二人称的单复数、第三人称的复数时：
结构：Do+主语+动词原型+其他
例：I often play football. 改为一般疑问句→Do you often play football
--Yes, I do./No, I don’t.

结构：Does+主语+动词原型+其他
例：She goes to work by bike. 改为一般疑问句→Does she go to work by bike
--Yes, she does./No, she doesn’t.

4.特殊疑问句式：
结构：疑问词+一般疑问句
例：How does your father go to work

【拓展4】助动词Do和实义动词Do的使用区别
①助动词Do：当do只是为了帮助动词变成否定或疑问，且没有实际词义的时候，do是助动词。
例如：Do you speak English →do帮助含有speak这个动词的句子变疑问句
Don’t run on the stairs. →do帮助含有run这个动词的句子变否定祈使句
②实义动词Do：当do+某事表示“做”某件事的时候，有实际词义，do是实义（行为）动词。
例如：She does her homework everyday. →do表示“做”作业
We do exercise every morning. →do表示“做”运动
