一、教学目标：
1. 语言知识目标：
1) 能掌握以下单词：blonde, mouth, round, face, eye, singer, actress.
2) 能掌握描述人物相貌的句型。

帮助学生正确表述人物的相貌。

三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
Greeting and introduce myself.
Say I have a son, he is in the picture on the screen, guess who he is.
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Teach the words describing the people as many as possible, e.g. tall, thin, … black hair, round face …
(Show some pictures on the big screen, and present the new words and expressions in this period)
(blonde, mouth, round, face, eye, singer, …)
2. Play a game -“sharp eyes” to revise the new words and phrases.
3. Work on 1a: Match the words with the pictures.
4. Read these words.
Ⅲ. Writing
1. Read the phrases in the box in 1b and make sentences about famous people with the words.
e.g. Zhao Benshan has a long face.
2. Fill in the blanks and check each other.
3. Summary
Summary：描述外貌
三种描述方法
①主语+be +形容词（身高/体型）
②主语 + have / has + 名词（头发/五官，名词前可有多个形容词修饰）
③主语 + wear（s） + 名词（衣物/眼镜等饰品）
Ⅳ. Listening
1、Pre- listening:
Go through the picture in 1c, describe their appearances.
2、While-listening
You will hear Maria and Danny talking about Tina Brown and Johnny Dean.
a. Your job is to write the job each person does. Point to the heading "Job" on the chart. Listen again and check the answers.
b. This time your job is to write what each person looks like. Point to the heading "looks like".
