现在进行时的基本用法：
①表示（说话时）正在进行或发生的动作
例：I am visiting my friends now.（我现在正在拜访我的朋友。）
We are waiting for you here.（我们正在这等你呢。）

②表示现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的状态
例：He is learning English this year.（他今年都在学英语。）
We are celebrating New Year this week（这一周我们都在欢庆新年。）

③look、listen、smell、Be quiet！（常用于常用于句子的开头，表示提醒听者注意正在发生的事情）
例：Listen, she is singing an English song.（听，她正在唱英文歌。）
Look at the picture. The children are flying kites in the park.（看这幅图。那些孩子正在公园放风筝。）

现在进行时常与以下时间状语连用：
now，this weekend，right now， at the/this moment，at present，these days等；或者告诉你一个准确的现在时间
例：We are making model planes these days.（这些天我们在做飞行模型。）
She is cleaning the house now.（她正在打扫房间。）
练4. He is _________ (swim) in the pool at this moment.
现在进行时句型构成：
肯定句式：主语+ am/is/are+ doing（现在分词）+其他
例：They are having a meeting now.（他们现在正在开会。）
动词现在分词的变化规则：
情况 规则 示例
一般情况 加-ing work-working listen-listening
以不发音字母e结尾 去掉e，再加-ing write-writing make-making
以ie结尾 变ie为y，再加-ing lie-lying die-dying
以重读闭音节结尾 双写词尾辅音字母，再加-ing run-running put-putting
★提示：重读闭音节指以辅音音素结尾，元音发短元音，而且是重读音节的音节。
特点：以一个辅音字母结尾，辅音前边有且只有一个元音，最后一个音节是重读音节。
例：forbid /f b d/ →forbidding（重读闭音节，双写）
prohibit /pr h b t/ →prohibiting（重读在第二音节，非重读闭音节，不双写）
否定句式：主语+ am/is/are+ not+ doing（现在分词）+其他
例：They are having a meeting now.
改为否定→They are not having a meeting now.（他们现在没有在开会。）
练5. Mary’s father is listening to the radio in the next room now.（改为否定句）

一般疑问句式：Am/Is/Are+ 主语+ doing（现在分词）+其他？
例：They are having a meeting now.
改为一般疑问句→Are they having a meeting now？
--Yes, they are./No, they are not.

特殊疑问句式：疑问词+ am/is/are+ 主语+ doing（现在分词）+其他？
例：What are they doing now？

【拓展1】现在进行时表将来
英语中可以用现在进行时（be doing）表示按计划、安排将要发生的动作，主要用于以下两种情况：
表示位置移动的动词的进行时表将来，如go，come，leave，start，begin，arrive，return，move，fly，take off等。
例：Mary is leaving for Beijing on Friday.（玛丽星期五要动身去北京。）
My uncle is coming back from abroad next week.（我叔叔下周要从国外回来了。）
练8. I _________ for Shanghai the day after tomorrow.
A． leave B． am leave
C． am leaving D． leaving
有些不表示位置移动的动词的进行时也可以表将来，如do，get，rent, meet, bring, eat, have, meet, play, see, stay, wear, work, run out等。
例：What are you doing for the National Day holiday （国庆节假期你计划干什么？）
We ’re renting a car and driving! （我们要租辆车开车去！）

补充：一般将来时的几种表达方式：
will do（主语为第一人称时可用shall do）
例：He will be thirty next year. （明年他就30岁了。）
be going to do
例：We are going to visit the Great Wall with the exchange students this weekend.（周末我们打算和交换生去参观长城。）
be to do
例：The examination is to take place next week.（下周要举行考试。）
be about to do
例：We are about to start. （我们就要出发了。）
一般现在时表将来
例：We will go for a picnic if it doesn’t rain this Sunday. （如果本周日不下雨，我们将去野餐。）
现在进行时表将来
例：I’m meeting Peter tonight. （今天晚上我要跟彼得会面。）
【拓展2】现在进行时表示说话人褒义或贬义的情感色彩，如赞许、批评、喜欢、厌恶等。此时常与always、often、forever、constantly、continually等副词连用。
例：He is always thinking of others , not of himself. （他总是为他人着想，而不为自己。）
→表示赞许
One of my roommates is often leaving things about. （我的一个室友经常乱扔东西。）→表示不满
练10. 翻译句子：这个男孩老是撒谎。（表示厌恶）

【拓展3】现在进行时 vs. 一般现在时
（一）现在进行时表示动作的暂时性，而一般现在时表示动作的习惯性和经常性。
请比较：I am watching TV now. （暂时性）我现在在看电视。
I watch TV every day. （经常性）我每天都看电视。
（二）现在进行时可表示短暂性动作，而一般现在时表示长久性动作。
请比较：Lucy is living in Beijing.（短时间居住）露西现在正住在北京。
Lucy lives in Beijing. （长久性居住）露西在北京居住或生活。

【拓展4&拔高】动词表示状态意义时一般不用于进行时
状态动词vs.动作动词
动作动词：如run，jump，play等，可以想象出做这些动作的画面。
状态动词：描述的是一种相对静止的状态，一般不用于进行时态，主要有以下几类：
1) 表示“拥有”的动词。如have (has) 等。
例：I have a nice bike now. (我现在有一辆漂亮的自行车。)
I am having a nice bike now.
2) 系动词be
例：They are of equal height.（他们一样高。）
I am knowing it.
提示：第二句话是错的，因为进行时态所表达的是动作正在进行，而状态动词又“不动”， 因此二者是冲突的。
3) 表示感觉的动词
如feel，hear，see，smell，notice，observe，look，taste等
例：We all felt the earthquake tremors. （我们都感觉到地震时的颤动。）
4) 表示感情和情绪的动词
如admire, adore, appreciate, care for, desire, detest, dislike, fear, hate, like, love, mind (=care), respect, value, want, wish等
例：The Japanese admire the traditions of the Chinese.（日本人羡慕中国人的传统。）
5) 表示精神活动的动词
如agree, appreciate, assume, believe, expect, feel, feel sure / certain, forget, know, mean, perceive, realize, recall, recognize, recollect, remember, see, suppose, think, trust, understand等
例：I agree that your plan is better. （我同意你的计划好一些。）
★注意：但这些动词如果转义成为动态动词时可以用进行时态。
请比较：The man looks interesting. 那个男子好像很有意思。（look状态动词）
The man is looking out of the window. 那个男子在往窗外看。（look行为动词）
This soup tastes great. 这汤味道好极了。（taste为状态动词）
The chief is tasting the soup. 厨师正在品尝汤。（taste为行为动词）
I have a lot of science books.我有许多科学书籍。（ 状态动词）
I’m having breakfast now.我现在正在吃早餐。（动作动词 ）
