教学重点: 1.Make students master the words:throw, neither, shirt, all the time, as soon as. 2.Let students master the sentences ”Could you please ... ”/Could I ... ” to make polite requests and ask for permission. 教学难点: How to improve the ability and the skills of reading through different reading activities.
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up and lead in Make a brief self-introduction. Watch a video about a busy mom, then show 3 questions to the students. Q: What can you see in this video What kind of chores does the mother do Do you often help your mother do housework (设计意图:通过播放视频的方式导入来提高学生的积极主动性。) Step 2 Pre-reading Show the picture on P19. Ask the questions: Is the house clean and tidy, or in a mess What would you do if your house is in a mess like this (设计意图:通过浏览图片信息初步去感知文章。) Step 3 While-reading Scanning. Scan this passage quickly to get the main idea, then students should finish the practice on the screen. The main idea of the passage is about ________. the story of Nancy and her mother the story of Nancy and her dog the story of Nancy and housework Skimming. Students skim this passage and divide the passage into 4 parts according to the key words. Cause--Anger--Cold war--ending Careful reading. Read part 1 carefully and write “T” or “F”, then find the answers in this part and correct the sentences. This story happened today. ( ) Nancy was full of energy when she was back. ( ) Nancy took her dog for a walk at once when she was back. ( ) Nancy went to the living room and threw out the rubbish. ( ) Nancy’s mother came back as soon as Nancy sat down in front of the TV.
