教学目标
1. 语言能力 (1)能熟读并准确熟练地运用单词usual、perhaps,短语in one’s opinion以及句型it is +adj. for sb to do…; I believe it is better if children… so that …; I don’t really agree with…, because…表达自己的观点。 (2)能运用规范优美的语言完成写作任务。 2.文化品格 通过比较取长补短,形成正确的世界观、价值观、人生观。 3.学习能力 (1)能依托阅读文本中的核心句式和词汇表述观点,并借鉴同伴互评中提出的合理建议自主修改文章、正确誊抄,全班展示。 (2)能逐步调整、完善过程性写作教学模式的基本步骤:计划、草稿、反馈、修改定稿,逐步提升综合语用能力。 4.思维品质 能就是否应该参加课外补习班发表自己的观点,培养审辩思维。
教学内容

教学过程
Step 1:Lead-in 1.Watching a video Everyone has stress, and it comes from different aspects, such as schoolwork, life and so on. What kind of stress do we students have Let’s watch a video. 2. Leading into the passage Show a pie chart and ask students questions: What do most students do after school Then draw the conclusion that most students take after-school classes and lead into the class. 【设计意图】 上课伊始,利用多媒体创设八年级学生参加课外活动的真实情景,使采访活动更具有吸引力,采访结果更具有说服力。直接切入写作主题使有限宝贵的课堂时间能集中用在写作的关键环节。观看视频并回答问题,培养看和听的能力。 Step2:Brain-storm Every coin has two sides. There are advantages and disadvantages. What’s your opinion Let’s have a debate. 2. Choose one student to collect reasons for their side and cut out the same ideas. Then write final reasons on the paper and put up the paper on the blackboard. 3. Choose three reasons from your side and rank them in the order of importance. 【设计意图】 全班同学随机分为支持和反对两个大组。任务是借助图片探寻理由,以支持自己的观点。通过小组头脑风暴,激发学生发散思维。通过辩论赛讨论来表明自己的观点和理由,提高学生的辩证思维,增强学生的口语表达能力。 Step3: Pre-writing 1. Read the passage and find out the topic of each paragraph. 2. Read the second paragraph and fill in the chart. Reasons Supporting details After-school classes nowadays add much _____ for kids. (1) Are the person and tense right (2分) (2) Does he show his/her opinion in the first paragraph (1分) (3) Do all the reasons clearly support his/her opinion (3分) (4) Are there any conjunctions in the second paragraph (1分) (5) Does he /she use different kinds of sentence structures (3分) 【设计意图】 引导学生反思文章中出现的典型错误,使之成为评价的主体,体验主人翁的精神,从而树立正确的评价意识,提高客观评价的能力。 Step 6: Editing Students correct their mistakes by themselves according to his or her partner’s advice. 【设计意图】 通过独立修改,完善作文,内化知识,形成策略、思维和能力。 Step 7: Publishing Invite students of high grades to show their articles in front of the whole class and the other students evaluate them according to the standards. 【设计意图】 通过展示评价,给予学生表达、交流、共享的机会。总结写作中存在的问题和注意事项,引起学生重视,避免不必要的错误。 Step 8: Exercise Fill in the blanks using until, so that or although.
