Step Ⅰ:Lead-in Greeting Watch a video “Welcome to my town”. Review the places we’ve learned:supermarket,bank, police station,hospital bookstore, post office, park, restaurant. Teacher shows some pictures of different places and students tell the name of them. Ask students if there are any of these places in their neighborhoods,and asks students to finish the task in 2a--Check the places near your home,then tell us. Students answer the question: there is a ____ in my neighborhood. Step Ⅱ: Pre-reading Here are 3 beautiful neighborhoods. Do you like to live here Do you know whose neighborhoods they are Let’s visit their neighborhood! Step Ⅲ: While-reading Fast reading ①.Read the passages(3min).
