教学内容
教学重点: 1. 掌握课文中出现的生词、短语,以及形容词和副词的比较级、最高级的新表达,达到熟练运用的目标;阅读短文,获得有关珠峰及人类的勇敢挑战精神的信息,通过阅读策略的运用提高阅读能力。
教学难点: 1. 理解并运用所学的词汇及形容词和副词的比较级、最高级的不同表达句式,如higher than any other mountain等;运用恰当的阅读策略获取信息,并能够有逻辑地清晰表达。
教学过程
Step 1. Lead in Watch 3 pictures and tell which one is the highest. Step 2. Pre-reading. With the help of the pictures, say something about Qomolangma and the climbers. Step 3. While-reading. Skimming. Read the article and match paragraphs with the main ideas. Scanning. Read Para.1 and complete the chart. Read Para. 2 and list the time of the three achievements. Read Para. 3 and answer the questions. Step 4. Post-reading. Suppose you climbed to the top of Qomolangma, a reporter is interviewing plete the conversation and act it out. Thinking: What is the “Qomolangma” in our life We should never give up trying to achieve their dreams.
