一、现在进行时
(一)概念：表示说话瞬间或现阶段正在进行的动作；也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
(二) 动词形式: be+V-ing
肯定句 He is running now.
否定句 He isn't running now.
一般疑问句Is he running now
肯定回答: Yes, he is. 否定回答: No, he isn't.
特殊疑问句(对划线部分提问) : What is he doing now
(三)时间状语:现在 now/right now, 听 listen, 看 look, It's +时间点, 此时此刻 at the/this moment,这些天/
最近 these days
二、现在分词(v.-ing)的构成
类别 构成方法 例词
一般情况 +-ing go-going
以不发音的字母e结尾的单词 去掉 e, 再加-ing take-taking
以重读闭音节结尾的动词， 末尾只有一个辅音字母 双写这个辅音字母， 再加-ing get-getting stop--stopping
三、特殊情况
1、现在进行时与always 连用时表示反复出现的动作，常带有不满或赞赏的情感色彩。
Mary is always helping her friends. 玛丽总是帮助她的朋友。
You are always fighting with your brother. 你总是和你哥哥吵架。
2、表示位置移动的动词如come，go，leave等，用现在进行时表示动作将要发生。
The sub way is coming. 地铁来了。He is leaving for England tomorrow.明天他要动身去英国。

1. How's the weather in Shanghai
How is the weather =What's the weather like 意为“天气怎么样 ”, 是询问天气情况的常用句型。
---How is the weather in Beijing /What's the weather like in Beijing ---It's cloudy.
2. It's cloudy.
cloudy是形容词，意为“多云的”，它是由名词cloud加上后缀-y 构成的，表示天气的这类名词还有：

本句用来询问对方处境或者事情进展情况,意为“近况如何”, =How is everything going 后常跟介词短语 with sb./sth.。How's it going with Mary's study 玛丽的学习怎么样了
答语: Pretty good! 相当好! Great!很好! Not bad!还不错!
Terrible! 糟透了! Just so-so.一般般。Everything is going well. 一切进行顺利。
4. Sounds like you're having a good time.
本句是一个省略句, =It sounds like...
sound like 意为“听起来像”, 后接名词、代词或者句子。
It sounds like a good idea. 听起来是个好主意。
Sounds like he is all right now. 听起来他现在没事了。
5. Can I take a message for him
message 用作可数名词, 表示“信息、消息”
take a message“捎口信、 传话”, take a message for sb.“为某人捎口信”
leave a message 意为“留口信”, send a message“发送信息”。
I'm sorry she's out now. Can I take a message 很抱歉, 她现在出去了。 我能帮你留言吗
6. Could you just tell him to call me back
(1) tell sb. to do sth.“告诉某人做某事”
tell sb. not to do sth.“告诉某人不要做某事”。
Tell the children not to make such noise. 告诉孩子们不要这样吵闹。
(2). call sb. back“给某人回电话”
I will call you back soon. 我很快给你回电话。
7. Sure, no problem.
no problem意为“没问题”, 表示同意或者没关系。
--Could you post the letter for me --No problem. 你能帮我寄这封信吗 ———没有问题。
辨析 problem 和 question
problem所指的问题总是与困难联系着, 表示“有待于解决的问题”;与 work out, solve 连用。
question 所指的问题总是和疑问联系着, 表示“有待回答的问题”, 它常与ask, answer 连用。
I can't work out the problem. 我解决不了这个问题。
This is a difficult question to answer. 这是个很难回答的问题。
8. What's John doing right now
right now=at once=right away“此刻、 现在”, “立刻、 马上”
I'm sorry I'm busy right now. 对不起, 我现在很忙。Please do it right now. 请现在就做。

have a great/good time doing sth.表示“愉快地做某事”, =have fun doing sth.。

some of意为“……中的一些”，后接名词或者代词
作主语时，谓语动词的单复数取决于介词of后名词或者代词的单复数。

be happy to do sth.高兴做某事 I am happy to stay with you. 我很高兴和你呆在一起。

12. It's afternoon right now, and I'm sitting by the pool and drinking orange juice.
by 此处用作介词
1、 表示: 在…旁边。There is an old big tree by the river. 河边有一棵老的大树。
2、表示: 乘坐(交通工具) She often goes to work by subway. 她经常乘地铁去上班。
3、表示: 在…之前 Can you call me back by ten 你能在十点之前给我回电话吗
4、表示: 通过 She studies English by listening to the radio. 她通过听收音机学习英语。
13. Are you studying hard, or are you having fun
hard此处用作副词，表示“努力地、 辛苦地”， 还可以表示“猛烈地、 重重地”，=heavily。
Mary is working hard at her English. 玛丽正在努力学习英语。
It's raining hard.=It's raining heavily. 雨下得很大。
14. My family and I are on a vacation in the mountains.
on(a) vacation 意为“在度假”, =on(a) holiday, go on vacation 表示“去度假”。
Mr. Green is on a vacation in Europe. 格林先生正在欧洲度假。
15. I want to call you but my phone isn't working, so I'm writing to you.
(1) call sb.“给某人打电话”, call sb. at...“拨打……号码找某人”。
Please call the police at 110. 请打 110 报警。
He has to give a call to his mother for money. 他不得不打电话给他母亲要钱。
(2) write to sb.意为“给某人写信”, =write a letter to sb.。
He writes to me every week. 他每周都给我写信。
16. One girl is skating on a river and a man is taking a photo of a snowman.
take a photo of“给…拍照、 照相”, =take photos of。
They are taking photos of the panda. 他们正在给熊猫拍照。
