一、there be 句型表示“某地有某物或某人”
1、There 是引导词，本身没有词义，be 是谓语动词，后面紧跟着的名词为主语
There be+主语(数保持一致) +地点状语
There is a bookon the desk. 桌子上有一本书。 There are some books on the desk. 桌子上有一些书。
2、辨析 There be 和 have
There be强调某个地方存在某人或者某物；have 强调某人或者某物拥有什么东西。
There are two pencils and a pen in my pencil-box.
I have a pen and two pencils.
3、句型变化：
肯定句： There is/are+主语+其他.
否定句be+not: There isn't/aren't+主语+其他.
一般疑问句(be 提前)： Is/Are there+主语+其他 Yes, there is/are. No, there isn't/aren't.
特殊疑问句 ①How many+可数名词复数+are there+其他 ②How much+不可数名词+is there+其他
There are some cars behind the bank.银行后面有一些小汽车。
There aren't any cars behind the bank.银行后面没有小汽车。
在否定句和疑问句中, 用 any 代替 some
——Are there any cars behind the bank 银行后面有小汽车吗
——Yes, there are. 是的, 有。 /No, there aren't. 不, 没有。
How many cars are there behind the bank 银行后面有多少辆小汽车
3、There be 句型的主谓一致
be 动词与主语在数上保持一致：
There is some money on the sofa.
有并列主语出现时，be的形式变化遵循“就近原则”，即与最近的主语保持一致。
There is a boy, a girl and two women in the house.
There are ten students and a teacher in the classroom.
二、问路的句型
Where is.. 在哪里
Excuse me. Can you tell me the way to... 打扰一下, 你能告诉我去...的路吗

指路句型：
It's in front of/across from/next to/near/behind...它在...前面/对面/旁边/附近/后面。
Go/Walk along/ down... 沿着...走
Turn right left at the…crossing, and then.在第…个十字路口向右/左转, 然后…
Take the… turning on the right left.在第…个拐弯处向右/左转。
Take the No.... bus and get off at...乘坐第...路公共汽车, 在...下车。

Section A 知识梳理
1. Is there a hospital near here
Is there... 意为“有......吗 ”, 这是 There be 句型的一般疑问句。
---Is there a book in your backpack --Yes, there is.
2. The pay phone is across from the library.
across from 意为“在……对面”, =opposite。
The bookstore is across from the bank.=opposite the bank. 书店在银行的对面。
3. The pay phone is next to the library.
next to 意为“紧挨着、 在……旁边”, =beside。
Our house is next to the post office.=beside the post office. 我们家在邮局旁边。
4. The pay phone is in front of the library.
in front of 意为“在物体外部的前面”; in the front of 意为“在物体内部的前面”。
The tree is in front of the house. 这棵树在房子的前面。
The teacher stands in the front of the classroom. 老师站在教室的前面。

6. It's not too far from here.
far from 意为“离…远”, 相当于 far away from
不与具体的数字连用，若出现具体数字时，用 away from。
My home is not far(away) from our school. 我家离我们学校不远。
The station is two kilometers away from here. 车站离这儿有两公里远。

7. Just go along Bridge Street and turn left when you see the library.
(1) along此处用作介词, 表示“沿着”, =go down=walk along=walk down
We can walk along that road. 我们可以沿着那条路走。
(2) turn 表示“转向、 转身”, turn left“左转”, turn right“右转”。
Turn left and go along the street. 向左转, 沿着这条街走。

crossing用作名词, 表示“十字路口”
“Turn left/right at the+序数词+crossing”, 表示“在第几个十字路口向左/右转”
=“Take the+序数词+crossing on the left/right”
Turn left at the second crossing.=Take the second crossing on the left.在第二个十字路口向左转。
9. I like to spend time there on weekends.
spend+时间/金钱+on sth. Lily spent twenty dollars on the new dress.莉莉花了20 美元买这件新衣服。
spend+时间/金钱+(in) doing sth.
Lily spends two hours finishing her homework. 莉莉花两个小时完成作业。
辨析“四花”spend, pay, take 和 cost
spend 主语是人 spend... on sth./spend...(in) doing sth.
pay 主语是人 pay for sth./pay +金钱. for sth.
take 形主是 it It takes sb.+时间+to do sth.
cost 主语是物 sth. costs sb.+金钱
10. I love to watch the monkeys climbing around.
watch sb. doing sth.看见某人正在做某事, 强调所看到的动作正在进行;
watch sb do sth 看到某人做了或经常做某事。
I watched her dancing in the park at six yesterday. 昨天六点我看见她在公园里跳舞。
I often watch her dance in the park. 我经常看她在公园里跳舞。
11. They look like my friends and me when we fight!
look like 意为“看起来像”, 强调外貌特征。
He looks like his father. 他看起来像他的父亲。
12. To get there, I usually walk out and turn in the right on Bridge Road.
句中的to get there 是动词不定式结构，作目的状语，可位于句首或者句尾。
To catch the bus, he got up early. 为了赶上公共汽车, 他起得很早。
