考点①条件状语从句
定义:由if或unless等连词引导的状语从句
if 引导的条件状语从句
含义:如果
时间搭配:
* if从句用一般现在时,主句用一般将来时
如If he comes，he will take us to the zoo.如果他来，就会带我们去动物园。
* if从句用一般现在时,主句含有情态动词must／should等
如 If you want to lose weight，you must eat less bread.如果你想减肥，那你就必须吃少点儿面包。
* if从句用一般现在时,主句用一般现在时
如 If you heat ice，it turns to water.如果把冰加热，它就会变成水。
* if从句用现在进行,主句用一般将来时，说明从句所表示的条件可以实现或正在进行时
如 If you are looking for Peter，you will find him upstairs.如果你在找彼德，上楼就可以找到他。
unless 引导的条件状语从句
含义:除非；如果不＝if...not
时态搭配:主句为一般将来时，从句常用一般现在时表示一般将来时
Unless you work hard, you will fail.除非你努力工作,不然你就会失败。
考点②时间状语从句
定义:由 when，while，as，as soon as等引导的状语从句
when 引导
表示“当……的时候”，when既可指时间段，也可指时间点。从句中既可用延续性动词，又可用非延续性动词。动作既可和主句的动作同时发生，又可在主句的动作之前或之后发生
When (you are) in trouble, ask her for help. 当你遭遇麻烦的时候去向她求助。
He stopped trying when he might have succeeded next time. 他不再试了，其实他可能下一次就成功。
while 引导
表示“当……的时候”，强调主句的动作与从句的动作同时、持续地进行。主句和从句中的谓语动词必须是延续性动词
Study while you study; play while you play. 该学习的时候就学习，该玩的时候就玩。
The last summer，I met her while I was at school. 去年夏天，我在学校的时候遇见了她。
as 引导
表示“当……时”或“一边……边……”，侧重两个动作同时发生（包括一个主语同时进行两个动作），或者一种动作随着另一种动作的变化而变化
I saw him as he was getting off the bus. 正当他下公共汽车时, 我看见了他。
He jumps as he goes along. 他边走边跳。
before 引导
表示主句的动作发生在从句的动作之前
Before the guests come, we will have to clean the house. 客人来之前，我们得打扫一下房子。
After he comes, we will set out for Shanghai. 他来之后，我们将动身去上海。
after 引导
表示主句的动作发生在从句的动作之后
Before it began to rain, she had already arrived home. 在开始下雨之前，她已经到家了。
After she had arrived home, it began to rain. 她到家之后开始下雨。
till和until一般情况下两者可以互换，但是在强调句型中多用until
I didn't go to bed until(till) my father came back. 直到我父亲回来我才上床睡觉。
It was not until the meeting was over that he began to teach me English.
直到散会之后他才开始教我英语。
since 引导
主句用现在完成时，since引导的时间状语从句用一般过去时。常见句型：It be（主句中谓语用一般现在时和用现在完成时区别不大，后者更具强调意味）＋表示一段时间的短语＋since引导的时间状语从句
She has been with the group since it began.该集团创建之初她就在那儿工作。
She hadn't eaten since breakfast.早饭后她一直没吃过东西。
It had been 20 years since I had directed any kind of film.
我已经20年没有执导任何一部电影了。
考点③其他状语从句
原因状语从句由because，as，since等连词引导
比较状语从句由as（so）...as，than等引导
结果状语从句由so...that，such...that引导
目的状语从句由so，so that等引导
让步状语从句由 though，although，even though 等引导
