知识点讲解
（一）时间状语从句
常用when/while/as(当…的时候)，before(在…之前)，after(在…以后)，till/until(直到…为止)，since(自从…以来)，as soon as(一…就…)等引导
1. when/while
when引导的从句可使用延续性动词与瞬间性动词；while引导的从句使用延续性动词
（牢记句型）：过去进行时 + when + 一般过去式
过去进行时 + while + 过去进行时
e.g. I was talking when the teacher came in.
Some students were reading while others were writing.
2. until的用法
肯定形式→译成“直到…为止” （动词须为延续性的）
否定形式→译成“直到…才”（即not...until） （动词多用非延续性的）
e.g. I will wait for you until you come back.
She didn’t arrive until 6 o’clock.
3. It is + 一段时间 + since + 句子（用一般过去式）
e.g. It is/It has been ten years since his grandfather died.
4. 在时间状语从句中，常用一般现在时表将来；用一般过去时代替过去将来。（主将从现）
e.g. I’ll tell him when he comes back.
I said I would tell him when he came back.
I’ll ring you as soon as I come back.
（二）条件状语从句
用从属连词if(如果），unless(=if...not...，除非）引导。
1. 在条件状语从句中，同样会使用到“主将从现”原则。
e.g. You will be late unless you leave at once. = You will be late if you don’t leave at once.
2.“祈使句+ and/or +陈述句”也可表示条件从句的意思。
e.g. Study hard, and you will get good grades. = If you study hard, you will get good grades.
Hurry up, or you will miss your train. = Unless you hurry up, you will miss you train.
（三）原因状语从句
常用because, since, as引导
because语气最强，用来说明人所不知的原因，回答why提出的问题。当原因是显而易见的或已为人们所知的，就用since
e.g. I didn’t go to school because I was ill. = I didn’t go to school because of my illness.
