Grammar: adjectives
1.形容词位于名词前，作定语。

2.形容词位于be动词后，作表语，修饰句子主语，构成主系表结构。

形容词用法注意事项 当被修饰的词是somebody, someone, something, anybody, anyone, anything, nobody, nothing等复合不定代词时，形容词要放在它们的后面。 There is somethingwrong with my watch. There is nothing exciting in the film.
有些形容词只能作表语，不能作定语，如：afraid, alone, alive, asleep, awake, ill, well 等。 【正】He is ill. 【误】He is an ill person.
常用句型：It is +形容词+(for sb./of sb.)to do sth. 如果表语是dangerous, difficult, important, interesting, exciting, easy, hard, bad, good, useful等表示事情的性质的形容词，在动词不定式前一般用for sb. It is +形容词+(for sb.)to do sth.对某人来说做某事…… It is important for youto listen to the teacher carefully in class.
