一、词汇
(一)How do you start a conversation?
start to do/doing sth. 开始做某事
e.g. She starts laughing/to laugh.
2. have/hold a conversation with sb.=have a talk with sb. 与某人交谈
1. start v. to begin doing or using sth.
e.g. I start work at nine.
n. the point at which sth. begins
e.g. a new start to the day

(二)May I have your name
询问姓名,比 What is your name 更有礼貌。
may 是情态动词,后加动词原形,无人称和数的变化。
e.g. He may be wrong. 他可能错了。
(四)You can call me Emma.
call sb. + 名字 “叫某人……”
call sb. at + 电话号码 “拨打……找某人”
e.g. Call me Lily,please.
请叫我莉莉。
Call him at 0531-7894079.
给他打电话,号码是0531-7894079。
(五)How are you
How + be + sb./sth. 某人/某事怎么样?
用来询问某人的健康状况或者某事的情况。
e.g.
—How is your father 你爸爸身体怎样?
—He is fine, thank you. 他很好,谢谢你。
—How is the weather 天气怎样?
—Not bad. 还不错。
(六)That’s the bell.
“该上课了”,相当于 It’s time for class。答语一般为 Let’s go to class.
