一、词汇
(一)I can’t find my new cap.
辨析find,find out 与look for
find 找到,发现 强调找的结果,指经过一番努力之后找到丢失的人或物。
find out 强调经过调查,研究或询问等获知,得知,意为 “查明,弄清”
look for 强调寻找的过程
e.g. I can’t find my key to the car.

(二)You need to keep your room tidy.
1. need 需要,其用法如下:
(1)行为动词
I need your help.
sb. need to do sth. 某人需要做某事 e.g.
He doesn’t need to go home at once.
(2)情态动词, 后面加动词原形,通常用在否定句和疑问句中。e.g.
You needn’t get up early on weekends.
—Must I finish my homework right now
—No, you needn’t./ No, you don’t have to.
2. keep 的用法
(1)系动词, 保持 keep+adj. e.g.
Keep quiet please.
(2)实义动词 “保持, 持续不断”。
keep sb./sth. +adj. 使某人/某物保持 e.g.
It’s hot here. Let’s keep the window open. e.g.
keep sb./sth. doing sth. 使某人/某物一直做某事
The boss keeps his worker working for two hours.
keep on doing sth. 持续不断做某事 e.g.
We can’t keep on making the same mistakes.
keep sb. from doing sth. 阻止某人做某事 e.g.
My mother often keeps me from watching TV.
