Step 2 Pre-reading 1a-1b 1.Show the sentences in la and tick the expressions that start a conversation2. 本单元是由3个日常对话和1篇字典页码两种不同类型的语篇组成。第一个对话是七年级学生开学时在校门口遇见,并互相打招呼。第二个对话是一名教师在教室里和同学们互相问候,字生们也互相打招呼并询问对方姓名。第三个对话是2个互不相识的学生在教室里互相问候询问姓名及姓名的拼写;另外两名熟识的学生在教学楼遇见打招呼并简短交谈。字典页码是字典的一页截图,主要是A字母和B字母开头的单词查询。本单元的核心语言主要围绕增进与同学之间的了解,共同开启英语学习的新旅程展开,如介绍新教材的单元的组织架构(unit, starter unit, section, conversation)、打招呼(greet, start, bell),以及涧问姓名(spell, may)等。四个语篇涉及不同的语篇知识.第一个和第二个语篇以问题"How do you greet people？"进行主题意义探究;第一个对话语篇以日常口语交际为线索组织信息;第二个语篇以"老师--学生","学生一学生"为角度向同学们介绍了如何得体地和别人打招呼;第三个对话语篇分别以陌生人、熟人如何打招呼呈现了如何问候,第四个语篇是字典的一页截图,学生通过探索如何使用字典查单词,为学生接下来的学习奠定基础。
学情分析
学生已具备的知识和能力:①本单元教学内容围绕学生刚进入初中学习的场景,学习如何互致问候,如何与人展开交谈,话题贴近学生生活和兴趣。②本单元为小初衔接单元。学生在小学阶段已经学过26个英及字母的发音和读写,对英语语言有基本的了解。③本单元中学生比较熟悉的互致问候有:hi, hello, good morning学生可能存在的困难与问题:①语言知识方面:字母发音不准确,如Jj， Gg 一般疑问句及特殊疑问句语调 中文名字拼音书写的格式②语言技能方面：a.在听说活动中,部分学生不能快速准确的获取信息;不能主动、准确进行表达。b.在读写活动中,不能快速归纳与不同对象展开对话所用语言的差异;不能准确地进行书写。③部分学生不能准确使用英语字典

Help Ss summarize other ways of greeting.How are you / How do you do / Nice to meet you.[purpose] To lead in the topic and review what Ss have learned.Step 2 Pre-listening laShow the pictures in la and let Ss observe and answer the questions. Q l: How many boys and girls are in the picture Q 2:Where are they Q 3: What are they doing Let Ss look at the picture and match the names with faces.Explain how to write Chinese names in English. And then ask Ss to write down their names in EnglishLet Ss work in groups to greet each other and invite some Ss to perform in class.[Purpose] To learn the spellings of names and practice greeting others.
