Listening to your favorite English songs is actually an effective way. Before you listen, you can read first and find out what the song is about. While listening, pick some useful words or phrases. A dictionary may also be helpful if necessary.

First, we should try to listen to all kinds of English programs as much as possible. In this way, we can improve our listening abilities.
Second, we shouldn't be afraid of speaking English.This is a very good way to learn English much faster and more easily.
Third,we should often read English books. It's true that we should try our best to read more books, such as novels, newspapers, storybooks and so on.
