课标与 教材分析 课标分析 本课时为阅读课时。根据《义务教育英语课程标准》(2022年版) ，五年级的学习即将逐步向二级目标的要求靠拢。语言技能目标中对“读”的描述有：能借助图片读懂简单的故事或小短文，并养成按意群阅读的习惯。能正确朗读所学故事或短文。 教材分析 Story time部分讲述的是 Zoom 和 Zip 与朋友们在操场上踢足球并谈论新体育老师的故事。通过他们对体育老师外貌特征的预测与体育老师本人体型特征之间的差异，渗透并说明了一个道理：不能以貌取人。故事的语言紧扣本单元核心句型，同时也有适当拓展，是很好的阅读材料。
学情 分析 通过前三课时的学习，学生对句型He’s/She’s...有了一定的理解。通过图片和语言知识的学习，不能以貌取人这一道理并不是很难理解。
教学目标 1.能够借助图片和在教师的引导下复习巩固本单元所学语言，理解故事内容，恰当运用故事中的语言。(学习理解) 2.能够在老师的帮助下分角色表演故事，复述故事。(应用实践) 3.能够运用本课核心句型谈论朋友的性格、品质特点，明白不能以貌取人的道理。(迁移创新)

Can Zoom play well Why （学习shoot，goal，missed=didn’t catch the football） 同桌进行表演 (Rabbit is coming.) 3.Read P4-6，underline and answer. In Zoom’s mind，can Rabbit play football Why Can Rabbit play well How many goals (学习score，goal，视频直观展示 Rabbit进球过程;并对比双方进球结果 ，体会Rabbit is great.) Let’s think. Who is Rabbit What would Zoom say to Rabbit Why 学生看视频，选出Zoom眼中理想的体育老师是什么样子的，出示足球运动员图片，感知其含义，加深理解。 再次观看视频，分析主人公Zoom的球技，同时带领学生学习足球运动中专业术语shoot, miss等单词。 3.阅读文章，跟随故事脉络，找到真正的体育老师，并将real PE teacher和ideal PE teacher进行对比。 1.第一次观看故事，感知故事内容，在问题的引领下提高学生观看效率。 2.在观看过程中带领学生学习并理解：score，goal，win，ten to three等新单词和新句子。 3.正确理解为什么兔子是一名很棒的足球运动员。
