教学设计说明
本节课的教材内容是新人教版必修二Unit2 的第一课时—听说课，主题语境是人与社会，以野生动物保护为话题，听力文本既有对话也有独白，主要训练的听力技巧包括预测和选择性听取关键信息。说的环节，教材要求学生进行两两对话讨论野生动物的现状与保护。考虑到本班学生整体英语水平较高，因此在最后的输出环节改为发表动物保护的演讲，以此增强学生的动物保护意识。 整个教学过程分成三大环节，即听前、听中和听后。听前环节依托视频、图片和文字等教学资源，旨在调动学生的学习兴趣和已有的背景知识，同时学习本节课的重难点词汇。听中训练学生的听前预测能力和选择性获取信息的能力，并对听力文本进行二次创造，为接下来的口语表达铺好语言、结构和内容的支架。听后要求学生根据前面所学的内容，小组合作完成一份关于野生动物保护的演讲。这个环节既能有效锻炼和提升学生的语言组织能力和口语表达能力，也可以增强学生的合作学习意识，同时增强学生保护大自然和野生动物的意识，提高环境保护意识。

Step 1 Lead-in Enjoy a video and answer the question below: What message do they convey(传达) to us Discuss the questions to explore the theme of this unit Q1: What else do you see in this picture Q2: Why is the picture of the two animals put in this unit Wildlife Protection Q3: According to the quote, can you guess why the two animals are endangered Purpose: Lead in the topic and activate students’ learning interest and background knowledge. Step 2 Before listening Listening tip: Use visuals to predict content Discuss what message you can get from each of the posters. Possible answers: Poster 1 :Many animals are dying out because of illegal hunting. If we don’t stop it, we humans may die out eventually. So，shoot animals with a camera, not a gun. Poster 2 : A number of wildlife species are becoming extinct at an alarming rate.Thus, we should pay attention to such a shocking problem. Poster 3: We should call on people to (呼吁) stop having shark fin soup because so many sharks end up(最终) dead each year . Remember, what you drink is not soup but life. Conclude the message the three posters share. Many wildlife species are in danger of and it's time to save or them before they . Purpose: Learn more about the present situation of endangered animal while at the same time get students to learn new words and phrases in contexts. Step 3 While- listening Deal with Exercise 2 in the textbook (1) Read the text and predict the missing words before listening. (2) Then Listen and check the answers. Deal with Exercise 3 in the textbook Circle the key words before listening. Listen to find out the answers to the two questions. Listen again and fill in the blanks with no more than 3 words. Discuss the questions and offer possible measures. Q1: According to the details ，“In his speech, Prince William also praised China's efforts to protect wildlife....” and “Remember: Change begins with you.”Who should and can do something for wildlife protection Q 2: How can the government and individuals protect endangered wildlife Give possible measures. Purpose: Get students to listen to and catch facts and opinions about endangered wildlife while at the same time learn important expressions in contexts. Step 4 Post-listening —Make a speech Get the structure of a speech through analyzing the listening material. (T writes it down on the blackboard) Work in groups of four to make a speech about wildlife protection. Student A : talk about problems Student B: talk about measures Student C: take notes Student D: give the speech Present the speech and evaluate the speaker’s performance.
