教学分析
教学内容分析及信息结构图 志愿者活动是帮助别人的一种很好方法。志愿者的活动方式多种多样，从日常的最常见的捡垃圾，到组织一场公益音乐会；从帮助你的学校种花、种树到去敬老院看望老人，有很多的方法可以让你所在的地方变得更加美好。 本单元的项目实践活动为创办志愿者组织。学生在教师指导下分小组开展课上课下学习实践活动，通过开展调查研究了解志愿者组织和机构，然后小组讨论需要帮助人群、制定计划，组建志愿者组织。要求学生开展实际志愿服务工作，并鼓励学生总结经验，不断改进，从身边、社区小事做起，坚持志愿者服务工作。
学情分析 本教学设计的教学对象是高一年级的学生。该年级的学生对探知世界有着浓厚的兴趣，具有高度的社会责任感。通过单元学习对助人为乐，热心于公益事业，参加志愿者活动话题形成了较为完整的认知，并掌握了一定的话题语言知识，形成了一定的批判性思维能力。但如何运用已有知识解决生活中的相关问题，以及通过项目训练培养合作探究能力和理论与实践相结合解决生活中的实际问题尚需要老师的指导。
课时教学目标 1. 通过在小组内交流调查结果，实现信息共享，更加全面了解身边的志愿组织和机构； 2. 根据调查研究结果，提出新的志愿服务方向，并制定出切实可行的计划。 3. 开展实施计划，然后学生汇报并分享志愿者服务的体验和经验，老师可进行适当的评价。
教学重点、难点 根据调查研究结果，组建志愿小组，确定志愿服务方向，并制定出切实可行的计划。引导学生能够走出课堂，实际开展志愿工作，并总结汇报自己的志愿者工作。

Step 1 Investigate Gw 1. Before the class,T asks Ss to work in group of to research volunteer groups in their neighborhood and find out: (1). What voluntary work they are doing(protecting the environment, helping the elderly) (2). What kind of work they do (3). How much time/energy/even money they devote to this work 2. Think about other people and places in your neighbourhood that would benefit from a volunteer group. 1. Ss share the results of investigation, meanwhile guiding the rest of the class to listen actively and compare the results of other groups with those of theirs. 2. Ss list out the benefits from a volunteer group and they can search online and ask for help from the existing volunteer groups and organizations. To improve Ss’ ability to work together with others by sharing, comparing and reflecting.
设计意图 教师引导学生在课前进行自主学习和小组合作探究式学习，通过课前的调查研究，查找活动主题相关的信息，为课堂活动做好准备。
Step 2 Plan Iw/Gw 1. T guides Ss to make a decision about who, where, and how to carry out their voluntary work to help. 2. T asks Ss to make a detailed plan of their volunteering group as required. 设计意图 教师引导学生展开讨论，决定进行要志愿服务的对象、地点和方式，让学生形成独立自主的判断和决定，有利于培养学生的自主意识。同时，制定合理的志愿者工作计划，也是进行志愿者服务的保证，要确保计划包括一些合理可行的信息，并对计划进一步优化。
Step 3 Create Iw/Cw 1. Set up your group and think of a good name for it. 2. Start volunteering! Remember to: (1). Get permission from relevant authorities. (2). Be polite and respect others and their privacy. (3). Ask for help if needed. 3. T encourages Ss to carry out their volunteering work after class, offering guidance and assistance when needed. Ss think of a name for their group and carry out the volunteering work after class. To encourage Ss to apply what they learned in class to real life.
设计意图 让学生为自己的志愿者团队想出一个好名字，这能启发学生的灵感，有助于提高学生志愿者服务意识，使学生更好的开展志愿者服务工作。同时，教师指导各小组进行志愿者服务实践时，让学生注意的一些常规的注意事项，并进行一些实时的指导还是很有必要的。
Step 4 Present Iw/Gw 1. T sets time in later periods for Ss to share their volunteering experience. Tell the rest of the class about your volunteering experience. Explain how you overcame the challenges and how helping others made you feel. 2. T evaluate the students’ voluntary work. Ss talk about their volunteering experience and share how helping others makes them feel. To share experience and feelings.
设计意图 本活动的意图是让学生实实在在的进行志愿者活动，志愿者活动不能停留在纸面上，学生做了志愿都活动之后，让他们分享经验，本身也是让学生总结得失，总结收获，让学生有获得感，成就感，喜悦感，总结不足，让学生反思提高，力争下次能做得更好。

案例解析 本课型定位为实践活动课，是对本单元“人与自我—做人做事—公民义务与社会责任”主题的课外延伸，可以把学习时间安排在课外。学生将通过调查研究和主题讨论，借助本单元学习的词汇和句型，运用批判性思维，深人思考和表达自己对单元乐于助人，热心公益，积极参加志愿者活动主题的理解，开展探究式学习。在主题意义引领下，收集信息并选择一种活动方式，形成具体可行的计划，最后呈现计划。通过小组展示，学生在老师的指导下，自主合作，探究环保的生活方式，在体验和交流的过程中，将语言学习、思维发展、文化感知和学习能力发展融入项目活动的全过程。该环节不仅使同学们加深对“乐于助人，热心公益，积极参加志愿者活动”主题的理解，提高语言能力，而且通过分组调查、参与合作探究、完成项目任务，形成自己的看法，提升思维品质。 这部分的Project活动是学生对课堂所学内容进行实际运用的过程，是真真正正的课外的doing，而不是停留课堂上的语言运用活动中的doing。我们经常教导学生要读万卷书，但更重要的是行万里路，把自己所学的东西真正的用起来，学以致用，才是知识学习的最高境界。当然让学生doing起来的前提是一个好的plan，也就是我们常说的“凡事预则立，不预则废”。故而引导学生做好plan这整个活动的成功有着十分重要的作用。 总之，志愿者活动不能停留在纸面上，学生做了志愿者活动之后，让他们分享经验，本身也是让学生总结得失，总结收获，让学生有获得感，成就感，喜悦感，总结不足，让学生反思提高，力争下次能做得更好。
