Lead-in Show a video discussing effective weight loss methods and ask the students to think about what unhealthy ways of losing weight are. Students watch and take notes. To introduce the topic and set the context for learning.
Reading Distribute the reading passage according to the structure of a news report. Deepen the understanding of the main idea of the article through forms such as timeline reasoning, pie chart division and reading filling-in-the-blanks respectively. Students read silently and answer comprehension questions. To develop reading skills and understanding of the content.
Discussion Facilitate a class discussion about beauty:Inspire students' thinking vitality with pictures and guide students to summarize the meaning of beauty by themselves. Students share insights, ask questions, and debate viewpoints. Under the guidance of the teacher, students summarize: Inner beauty is the real beauty. To encourage critical thinking and social interaction.
