●Discourse analysis文本解读
1.Did you know
What:文章简要介绍了英美国家高中生的课外生活情况,以及学校为引导学生学会平衡课内外生活而开设时间管理课程。
Why:通过介绍国外中学生的课外生活和时间管理等情况,引发学生思考自身如何平衡学习与活动,规划时间。
How:本文是为典型的总分结构说明文,先总述国外中学生参加课外活动的概沉,接着围绕其重要作用和可能带来的时间管理问题进行阐述。主要以举例子的方式帮助读者具体感知相关内容。
2.听力语篇
What:对话介绍了高中新生面对丰富多彩的课外活动如何合理安排自己时间。对话里出现的两位主人公分别讲述了自己的建议。
Why:借助对话中人物的具体例子引导学生合理制定计划。
How:听力语篇以对话形式出现,语篇组织模式为problem→solution,以两位对话者一问一答的形式,逐渐推进主题。

Preparation课前准备
1.Make a survey on the clubs in your school and list them below.
Suggested answers:film club,photography club,chess club,debate club,English corner...
2.Think about the problems you may face if you want to join several different clubs.
Suggested answers:It's hard to keep a balance between study and after-school activities./I'm too shy to make new friends./I don't know how to choose a proper club for myself.
