资源简介 新外研版高中英语必修三 Book 3 Unit 1Starting out & Understanding ideas 教学设计●Material学习内容Starting out&Understanding ideas板块(见教材Pl-P4)。本部分教学内容为人际交往场合中的不当言行引发的人际关系问题。其中Starting out部分,通过看视频了解在请求别人帮助(搬家)时、谈论餐厅时、赠送礼物过程中,不恰当的言行给交谈双方带来的不愉快,激发读者关注人际交往的问题;Understanding ideas部分是关于一场篮球赛引发的人际冲突,通过阅读求助信与建议信,关注并思考人际交往问题,以及如何恰当地处理矛盾。●Discourse analysis文本解读1.Starting out视频呈现三个对话场景:场景一:帮忙搬家;场景二:谈论一家餐厅;场景三:赠送生日礼物。每个场景通过两人对话,让读者体会人际交往中,不恰当的言行所导致的人际交往危机:场景一:对给予帮助的人没有礼貌;场景二:随意打断对方说话;场景三:询问别人所送生日礼物的价格。三组场景围绕人际交往中体现的不顾别人的感受、不擅于倾听对方的谈话以及向对方提出不恰当的问题三种不当言行。交往中的不礼貌言语有:Come on What are you waiting forYou are so slow!Careful Don't drop it.You are so clumsy!Now,put the boxes over there.Be careful!What did you say How much did you pay for it No way!I know where you can buy this for 10 pounds!I'll send you the link.You can use it to buy my birthday present next year.2.Understanding ideas本部分语篇为一封求助信和一封建议信。求助信中,主人公因不满篮球队比赛中控球后卫的表现而向朋友倾诉,但朋友没有保守秘密,将他的话告诉了球队所有人,这让他很尴尬、苦恼,因此写信求助于“知心阿姨”。建议信中,作者引用“Loose lips sink ships..”帮助求助者分析错误,并提出三条修复人际关系的建议,关注并思考人际交往中的问题。典型语言有:表达消极情绪的词汇:be crazy about,.mad,disappointed,.angry,.awkward,.embarrassed,ashamed,表达消极状态的词汇:in a total mess,.can't concentrate on anything,tend to say whatever comes to your mind,give sb.the wrong signal,let down,let off steam,pull one's weight;表达求助的词汇:help sb.out,表达个人感觉的句型:it was like he wasn't.;I felt.;be angry with sb..for doing sth.;表达建议的句型:I have to say that;Here is what you need to do,Your strategy is clear communication.●Teaching objectives教学目标本课时结束,学生能够:1.获取有关作者求助的相关信息、梳理情绪变化线索、概述矛盾背后的原因及解决矛盾的建议;2.依据话题内容,找出烦恼、求助、建议相关的语言,完成信息结构图;3.运用所学语言,谈论感受,联想思考其它方面的建议和做法。●Teaching process教学过程Preparation课前准备1.What kind of person are you 2.How many types of characters do you know Use some descriptive wordsMap of classroom课堂教学教学步骤 教学活动 教学意图 教学心得Activity 1 Watch and talk 1.Ss look at the picture and answer the questions. Type Two:The Giver A preoccupation with the needs of others; They take pride in giving and helping; Sometimes they feel taken advantage of; They have a hard time expressing their own needs; They always alter their self-presentation to meet the needs of important others. Type Three:The Performer Their primary identification is with accomplishment and success; They seek approval and acceptance based on performance; Their attention goes to the task; ·Image is important; They feel constant pressure to perform. Type Four:The Romantic There is a constant longing for the missing ingredient of personal happiness; Their focus is on the best of what's missing,what's distant,and what's hard to get; ·The“ordinary”pales by comparison,. There is a deeply felt abandonment that translates into a belief that "I am un-lovable'”; Their suffering sets them apart from others. Type Five:The Observer They have a marked need for privacy; They limit intrusion from a world that wants too much from them; ·“Observers”hoard time,.space,.energy,.knowledge,and themselves; They detach from feelings and observe rather than participate; They are minimalists. Type Six:The Loyal Skeptic They are preoccupied with safety and security concerns; They greet everything with a doubting mind,and contrary thinking; “Loyal Skeptics”report active imaginations that amplify questionable areas; They question people and authority; They procrastinate because of fearing the outcome,failing to complete projects. Type Seven:The Epicure ·Life is an adventure! ·“Epicures”are pleasure-seeking and gluttons for experience and enjoyment; They are optimistic,active,and energetic; They see multiple options,but have difficulty with commitment; They want limits on themselves. Type Eight:The Boss They want stimulation and excitement; They are concerned with strength; As "Protectors",they are direct,confrontational and express their anger immediately; They are aggressive,intimidating and impulsive; They deny their own vulnerability and weakness.
