Using language (Review:basic sentence structures)
1.Match the sentences that share the same structure. ★找到相同结构的句型(七种基本 句型),通过理解句意、观察句型 并找到联系: ★活动属于获取与梳理 建议:第一,活动前设置有关阅读First Day at Senior High的活动,引出活动1中1-7句;第二,活动之间增加句型结构总结环节。 说明:引导学生阅读课文,通过感知、注意、概括,总结七种基本句型(Grammar Focus)。
Now look for more sentences with these structures in the reading passage. ★从My First Day at Senior High中找出类似的句型(七种基本句型): ★活动属于巩固句型理解。
2.Look at the pictures and tell the story with your own ending. See how many different basic sentence structures you can use. ★观察图片,理解语境,运用所学基本句型,描述故事: ★活动属于内化与运用。 建议:活动前增加句型巩固训练(如一图一句型)活动后增设评价,引导学生使用所学语言知识。 说明:细化学习过程,使学习呈现进阶性,从句到篇,由易到难。

Preparation课前准备
Find out and underline the predicate verbs.
Last week I went to the theatre.I had a very good seat.The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. "I can't hear a word!" I said angrily. "It's none of your business," the young man said rudely. “This is a private conversation!'”
Suggested answer:

Activity 5 Read and distinguish Ss look for more sentences with these structures in the reading passage below. My favorite teacher is Mr.Bieber. He was my maths teacher. At first, I found maths so boring and difficult. But Mr.Bieber made everything interesting. He explained things with lots of examples.One day,we went outside. He brought us a rocket. I poured some powder into the rocket. Then another student lit a flame. It was set off! We all jumped!
