一、教学目标
语言知识目标
学习更多的问候和欢迎相关的表达，如：Nice to meet you. How are you 等。
掌握回答上述问候的常见用语，如：Nice to meet you, too. I'm fine, thank you. 等。
语言技能目标
能够在实际情境中灵活运用所学词汇和句型，准确、流利地表达欢迎和介绍。
培养学生的听说读写综合语言运用能力。
情感态度目标
培养学生热情好客、友好待人的品质。
增强学生在英语交流中的自信心和积极性。
二、教学重难点
教学重点：
拓展词汇和短语的理解与运用。
综合运用本单元的语言知识进行交流。
教学难点：
让学生理解“How are you ”这一问候的多种回答方式，并能根据实际情况选择合适的回答。
三、教学方法
情景教学法、任务驱动法、小组合作法
四、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up and Revision (3 minutes)
Greet the students and have a free talk about the previous lesson. Ask some students to introduce themselves or greet others.
Play a short game: "Quick Response". Show some pictures or words related to welcome and introduction, and students need to say the corresponding English expressions as quickly as possible.
Step 2: Lead-in (2 minutes)
展示一段包含多种问候和欢迎场景的英文小视频，提问学生：What greetings and welcomes can you hear in the video
Step 3: Presentation of New Vocabulary and Phrases (5 minutes)
Present the new vocabulary and phrases on the PPT or blackboard, such as "welcome to...", "be glad to...". Explain their meanings and usage through examples and simple sentences.
Example: "Welcome to our school." "I'm glad to see you."
Have students repeat the new words and phrases several times and make some sentences with them.
Step 4: Practice (8 minutes)
“Pair Work”：学生两人一组，进行问候和回答的练习，互相交换角色。
开展“Greeting Relay”游戏：将学生分成若干小组，每组第一个学生向第二个学生发出问候，第二个学生做出回答后再向第三个学生问候，依次进行，看哪个小组完成得又快又准确。
Step 5: Listening Practice (6 minutes)
Play the listening material of this section. Students listen carefully and answer some questions related to the content.
Play the recording again if necessary and check the answers together.
Step 6: Reading and Discussion (6 minutes)
Students read the dialogue in the textbook aloud. Then work in groups to discuss the following questions:
What do they say when they welcome someone
How do they introduce themselves
Invite some groups to share their ideas and have a class discussion.
Step 5: Language Practice (6 minutes)
Set up some real-life situations, such as a school open day, a party at home. Ask students to make dialogues based on these situations using the language they have learned.
Encourage students to be creative and add more details to their dialogues.
Step 6: Summary (3 minutes)
回顾本节课所学的问候和欢迎用语以及相应的回答。
强调在交流中使用礼貌用语的重要性。
Step 7: Homework (1 minutes)
Write a short passage about welcoming a new friend to your community.

六、教学反思
在这节课的教学中，通过多样化的教学活动和情景创设，学生对新学的问候和欢迎用语表现出了较高的兴趣和参与度。小组合作和游戏竞赛的方式有效地促进了学生之间的互动和交流，大部分学生能够在模拟情境中较自然地运用所学知识。然而，仍有少数学生在回答“How are you ”时不够灵活，对不同回答的理解和运用还需要进一步加强。在今后的教学中，应增加更多的实际操练环节，提供更多样化的语境，帮助学生更好地掌握和运用这些语言知识，同时注重对个别学生的辅导和关注，确保每个学生都能跟上教学进度，提高英语交流能力。
