While-reading Step1: Fast reading: What’s the genre of this passage Divide the passage into several parts and summarize the main idea of each part. Step2: Careful reading: Part 1 (para 1) Why did Ryan want to help Part 2 (para.2-5): How did Ryan help Part 3 (para.6): conclusion The teacher lets students read 3 times to get the answers. Reflection We should make full use of technology! When I asked students to draw the structure of the passage, I can lead them to write down and share it with the whole class by using Seewo! After taking part in the presentation, I learned to design a reading class, especially trying my best to let my class be coherent and fluent. In the future, I will spare no effort to dig our passage further and let my class be coherent,too!
