资源简介 Book 2 Unit 4 History and Traditions 教学设计Period4:Reading for Writing—Describe a place that you like授课教师: 授课年级:高一年级 授课时长:40min语篇研读本课时旨在指导学生根据景物描写类说明文的特点对课文内容进行理解、梳理及挖掘,并利用本单元所学话题单词、表达和句型,能够生动、细致地描写自己家乡的景物,并恰当地表达自己的感受。在读和写的过程中锻炼学生的阅读能力、思维能力和写作能力。同时在人与社会的主题语境下,让学生反思和探索国内尤其是身边景点的历史文化价值,挖掘并了解相关历史文化传统。 主题语境:人与社会 语篇类型:说明文 【what】 本文描述了爱尔兰美丽的风景和传统,从一个旅行者的角度,描绘爱尔兰乡村的美丽景色和风土人情,爱尔兰乡村以景色优美清新、颇具历史文化特色而著称,这段描写与前面对英国伦敦等城市的历史文化景点介绍相得益彰,较为完整地刻画出将历史和现代、城市与乡村和谐地融为一体的欧洲文化特色。 【why】 该语篇是景物描写,从旅行者的角度将爱尔兰乡村的景致、自身感受和当地风土人情融为一体,内容丰富,语言优美,短小精悍,通过视觉、嗅觉、味觉、听觉和触觉等方面让学生学会描述自己所熟悉的地点或景物同时了解并挖掘历史文化价值,培养文化自觉和文化自信。 【how】 作者从视觉、嗅觉、味觉、听觉和触觉等方面以特定的文字和例子(一个明显的线索明线)来说明爱尔兰的美,如乡村风景,海浪的咆哮,海鸟的叫声等。还介绍了爱尔兰的民族传统,如音乐、舞蹈和菜肴,以及当地居民。作者还运用了隐喻(暗喻)、拟人等修辞手法以及生动活泼的句子,从各个方面展现爱尔兰的美。学情分析本课时的授课对象是宣恩一中高一年级普通班学生。学生对于这个单元的主题是比较熟悉的,学生也学习过景物描写的文章,但是学生对五官法的写景手法是较为陌生的,所以在教授本课时要注意增加学生无感法写景的输入,以促进学生的写作输出。故在描写家乡宣恩时,我选择为学生提供仿写例句,让学生从模仿开始,逐步熟悉添加细节。教学目标By the end of this class, you will be able to: analyze the structure and language features of the passage; figure out the relationship between the beauty and the traditions; imitate(模仿)and describe our hometown from different senses.教学重难点Teaching Points: 1、Use the Hamburger Structure (Introduction-Body-Ending) to write an article about a certain place; 2、Master how to describe the scene from the perspectives of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste; 3、Output the body part of a passage describing beauty and traditions of nearby locations by applying the writing skills and given expressions; Teaching Difficulties: 1、Analyze and conclude the five tips on how to be a good writer on scenery description with the guidance of the teacher; 2、Discover the value of domestic scenic spots by comparison, cultivating international perspective(国际视野) and culture recognition(文化认同);教学过程Step 1:Lead in 1、Watch a video about Ireland and think about two questions: Q1: What can you see in the video Q2: How does it make you feel 2、Describe what they see and what they feel by using the nouns and adjectives. Step2:Before reading—Analyze the structure Show the title and tell the main idea by using two words to summarize. From the title, we can know that the article mainly talks . Go through the whole passage quickly and underline the introductory sentence and the ending sentence. Then guide the students to learn about the Hamburger Structure(Introduction-Body-Ending) naturally. Step 3: While reading: Read for details Read the text and answer the following questions: What makes the Irish countryside exciting and inspiring Students are led to learn about an expression called sensory details and find out which places are described and what sensory details are used in each place along the travelling route. sensory details(感官细节) (details that you can observe through your senses) Question chains: What can you see\hear\smell\taste\feel in Ireland’s countryside the rolling green hills; sheep; cattle the roar of the ocean waves; cries of the seabirds; sweet scent of fresh flowers; feel the sun on the skin Step 4: Preparing for writing Enjoy a video and some beautiful pictures about Xuanen. Guide the students to describe the landscape of the hometown. Try to imitate by the given sentences: 仿写1:宣恩风光秀美,青山绵延起伏,白云点缀其中,堪称一场真正的视觉盛宴。 The beautiful landscape of Xuan’en is a true feast for the eyes, with its rolling green hills dotted with white clouyds. 仿写2:沿着贡水河畔,溪流的潺潺声、风的轻声吟唱与鸟鸣声,奏响了自然交响曲。 And down by Gong River, the gurgling of the streams, the whisper of the wind and the cries of the birds make up the music of nature. 仿写3:在阳光明媚的早晨,步行于贡水河畔,感受阳光抚摸你的皮肤,呼吸着鲜花甜美的芬芳,鸟儿在欢快地歌唱,好像在热情地迎接我们。 On a sunny morning, walk around the Gong River, feel the sunlight on your skin and breathe of fresh flowers. Birds are singing happily as if they were warmly greeting us. 仿写4:为了有机会感受宣恩的传统和习俗,可以去墨达楼(Mida House)欣赏“西兰卡普”(Brocade of Tujia),观看少数民族歌舞(minority songs and dances)放松一下。更好的是,品尝美味的烤活鱼(roast fish) To have a chance of experiencing the traditions and custom, stop by Mida House to have a look at the Brocade of Tujia and relax with appreciating the minority songs and dances.
